SCHUBERTH SC2 APP & DEVICE MANAGER

The SCHUBERTH SC2 App provides functions for Mesh Intercom, Bluetooth Intercom, Music control, Device settings, and Language settings.

The SCHUBERTH Device Manager allows you to upgrade firmware and configure settings from your PC. Download it from oem.sena.com/schuberth/.

PRODUCT DETAILS: SC2

The SC2 unit features a Multi-function Button, a Status LED, and a DC Power Charging & Firmware Upgrade Port.

SC2 REMOTE CONTROL

The SC2 Remote Control includes:

• (+) Button
• Center Button
• (-) Button
• Mesh Intercom Button
• Battery Slot
• Battery Release Hole

INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL

Installing the SC2 Remote Control

Step 1: Place the cover for the SC2 Remote Control.

Step 2: Align and insert the remote control into the helmet.

Step 3: Secure the remote control.

Step 4: Ensure the remote control is firmly attached.

Removing the SC2

Step 1: Release the SC2 unit from the helmet.

Step 2: Detach the SC2 unit.

Note: When unplugging connectors, wiggle and pull gently to release them.

Installing the Microphone

(The microphone is pre-installed on the S3 model)

Step 1: Insert the microphone connector into the helmet port.

Step 2: Install the microphone by pressing firmly on the area marked with an orange circle.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

Step 1: Access the battery compartment on the remote control.

Step 2: Use a tool to release the battery.

Step 3: Replace the battery with a CR2016 coin cell.

ICON LEGEND

Function: Button(s) to tap the specified number of times or press and hold for the specified amount of time.

? "Hello" - Audible prompt.

SC2 POWERING ON & OFF

Powering On: Press and hold the Multi-function Button on the SC2 for 2 seconds until you hear "Hello". The remote control will also power on.

Powering Off: Press and hold the Multi-function Button on the SC2 for 2 seconds until you hear "Good Bye". The remote control enters sleep mode.

Waking Up: To wake the remote control after the SC2 is powered on, tap the (+) Button on the remote control.

SC2 REMOTE CONTROL OPERATION

Powering On: Tap the (+) Button on the remote control.

Powering Off: Press and hold the (+) Button on the remote control for 3 seconds.

Note: The SC2 and SC2 Remote Control are paired and connect automatically when powered on.

VOLUME CONTROL

Volume Up: Tap the (+) Button.

Volume Down: Tap the (-) Button.

CHECKING BATTERY LEVEL

When switching on, the ? LED flashes red to indicate the charge level.

SC2: Hold the Multi-function Button for 2 seconds to check the battery level (indicated by LED color/pattern).

SC2 Remote Control: Tap the (+) Button once to check the battery level (indicated by LED color/pattern).

PHONE PAIRING

1. Access the configuration menu by holding the ⚙️ icon for 10 seconds.
2. Select "Phone pairing" by tapping the (+) Button.
3. On your smartphone, search for "SC2" and enter the PIN "0000" if prompted.

MOBILE PHONE OPERATIONS

Answer a Call: Tap the ? icon once.

End & Reject a Call: Press and hold the ? icon for 2 seconds.

SIRI AND GOOGLE ASSISTANT

Activate Siri or Google Assistant by saying "Hey Google" or "Hey Siri", or by holding the ? icon for 3 seconds, which will prompt "[Beep, Beep]".

MUSIC CONTROLS

Play & Pause: Press and hold the ▶️ icon for 1 second, which will prompt "[Beep, Beep]".

Track Forward: Press and hold the (+) Button for 1 second.

Track Backward: Press and hold the (-) Button for 1 second.

MESH INTERCOM™

When Mesh Intercom is enabled, the SC2 automatically connects to nearby Mesh users. Press the Mesh Intercom Button to talk.

Note: For full Carbon helmets, communication range is limited to 400 meters due to shielding properties.

Mesh Intercom On & Off

Tap the Intercom icon once to turn Mesh Intercom on or off. Voice prompts include "Mesh intercom on, Open Mesh, Channel 1" or "Mesh intercom off".

Open Mesh™

When Mesh Intercom is enabled, the headset starts in Open Mesh (default: channel 1). Users can communicate within the same Open Mesh channel.

CHANNEL SETTING (DEFAULT: CHANNEL 1)

If Open Mesh experiences interference, change the channel from 1 to 9.

Enter Channel Setting:

Tap the Intercom icon twice to enter "Channel setting, 1".

Navigate Channels:

Use the (+) Button (tap 1x) to advance channels (1→2→...→9) and the (-) Button (tap 1x) to go back or exit.

Save Channel:

Tap the ✔️ icon once to save the channel, with a prompt "Channel is set, Channel #".

Note: To exit Channel Setting, tap the (+) or (-) Button until "Exit" is heard, then tap the Center Button.

GROUP MESH™

Group Mesh is a closed group intercom function for up to 24 users. Users can join, leave, or rejoin conversations without individual headset pairing.

Creating a Group Mesh

Requires two or more Open Mesh users.

Step 1: User C and User D enter Mesh Grouping to create a Group Mesh.

Step 2: Headsets complete Mesh Grouping and switch from Open Mesh to Group Mesh.

Joining an Existing Group Mesh

One member in an Existing Group Mesh can allow new members to join.

Step 1: A current member (E) and a new member (C) enter Mesh Grouping.

Step 2: Headsets complete Mesh Grouping, and new members hear a prompt as they switch to Group Mesh.

RESET MESH

If a headset resets the Mesh, it returns to Open Mesh (default: channel 1).

Press and hold the ⚙️ icon for 8 seconds for a "Reset mesh" prompt.

ENABLE & DISABLE MIC

Users can enable/disable the microphone during Mesh Intercom by holding the ? icon for 1 second, resulting in "Mic on" or "Mic off" prompts.

BLUETOOTH INTERCOM

Up to three additional people can be paired with your headset (A) for Bluetooth intercom conversations.

Intercom Pairing

Pair with Intercom B by holding the ⚙️ icon for 5 seconds, prompting "Intercom pairing". The SC2 automatically pairs with Sena headsets.

A flashing blue LED confirms pairing.

Note: Repeat the process to pair with Friends C & D.

Two-Way Intercom (Last-Come, First-Served)

Diagrams illustrate connection sequences for 1, 2, and 3 intercom friends.

FM RADIO

FM Radio On & Off:

Press and hold the ? icon for 1 second for "FM on, ###" or "FM off" prompts.

Scan Stations & Stop Scanning:

Press and hold the ? icon and (+) Button for 1 second for "[FM frequency]" prompts.

Seek Stations:

Use the (+) Button (tap 1x) to seek forward and the (-) Button (tap 1x) to seek backward.

Navigating Preset Stations:

Press and hold the ▶️ icon for 1 second.

Notes: Preset FM stations using the SCHUBERTH SC2 App or Device Manager. Carbon helmets may affect FM signal clarity.

VOICE COMMAND

Operate the SC2 using voice commands:

• Turn on Mesh Intercom: "Hey Sena, Mesh On"
• Play Music: "Hey Sena, Play Music"
• Answer Call: "Answer"

Note: Refer to the User's Guide for a full list of voice commands.

CONFIGURATION MENU

Accessing the Headset Configuration Menu:

Hold the ⚙️ icon for 10 seconds for "Configuration menu".

Navigating Between Menu Options:

Use the ➡️ icon (tap 1x) for "[Menu prompt]" and the ⬅️ icon (tap 1x) to navigate.

Execute Menu Options:

Tap the ✔️ icon once to execute.

TROUBLESHOOTING

SC2 Factory Reset:

Hold the ⚙️ icon on the SC2 for 12 seconds for "Headset reset, Good bye".

SC2 Remote Control Factory Reset:

Hold the (+) Button on the remote control for 1 second.

REMOTE CONTROL PAIRING

To pair a different SC2 Remote Control:

1. Hold the ⚙️ icon for 5 seconds for "Remote control pairing".
2. Hold the (+) Button for 8 seconds.
3. The SC2 will automatically connect, prompting "Remote control connected".

SC2 Fault Reset:

Perform a fault reset by tapping the ⚙️ icon on the SC2 unit once.

Note: Fault Reset does not restore factory default settings.

• Track Forward/Backward: Hold (+) or (-) Button 1s.

• FM Radio On/Off: Hold ? icon 1s.
• Select Preset: Hold ⭐ icon 1s.
• Seek Forward/Backward: Tap (+) or (-) Button 2x.
• Scan Up & Stop Scanning: Hold ? icon 1s.

Mesh Intercom™

• Mesh Intercom On/Off: Tap Intercom icon 1x.
• Channel Setting: Tap Intercom icon 2x.
• Mesh Grouping: Hold Intercom icon 5s.
• Reset Mesh: Hold ⚙️ icon 8s.
• Enable/Disable Mic: Hold ? icon 1s.

Intercom

• Intercom Pairing: Hold ⚙️ icon 5s.
• Start & End Intercom: Tap Intercom icon 1x.
