The PiCAN2 DUO board provides two independent CAN-Bus channels for the Raspberry Pi 2. It utilizes the Microchip MCP2515 CAN controller paired with the MCP2551 CAN transceiver. Connections are facilitated via a 4-way screw terminal. An optional 5V 1A SMPS is available to power the Raspberry Pi through the same screw terminal. The board supports easy installation of the SocketCAN driver, and programming can be performed using C or Python.
