Five basic rules for maintaining water-resistance:
- Have your watch checked regularly.
- Do not operate the crown when submerged in water.
- Rinse your watch with fresh water after immersion.
- Dry your watch thoroughly if it becomes wet.
- Have the water-resistance checked by an authorized Hamilton agent whenever the case is opened.
