How to Wear

For the best fit and seal, try different sizes of ear tips. Insert the earbuds into your ears and twist them slightly to find the optimal position. The My JBL Headphones app can help you check the fit.

First Time Use

Ensure your earbuds are placed correctly in the charging case to begin.

Power On & Connect

1. Open the charging case to power on the earbuds.
2. Take out the earbuds.
3. On your device, go to Bluetooth settings and select “JBL Live Pro+ TWS” to connect. For Android 6.0+ devices, Fast Pair may automatically prompt you to pair.

Dual Connect + Sync

You can use the earbuds in two modes:

• Stereo Mode: Use both earbuds for a full stereo experience.
• Mono Mode: Use either the left or right earbud individually.

Power Off

To power off, simply place the earbuds back into the charging case and close the lid.

Manual Controls

Connect to a Bluetooth Device: Follow the pairing steps outlined in the 'Power On & Connect' section.

Reset: To reset the earbuds, place them in the charging case, keep the lid open, and press and hold the button on the case for 5 seconds until the LEDs flash.

Button Command

Customize controls via the My JBL Headphones app. Basic functions include:

• ANC / Ambient Aware / OFF / TalkThru: Tap or long-press the earbud touch surface to cycle through modes.
• Playback Control: Tap once for Play/Pause, double-tap for Next Track, triple-tap for Previous Track.
• Voice Assistant: Assign activation of Google Assistant, Alexa, or Bixby/Siri by tapping or long-pressing the earbud.

*Enable advanced controls and assign voice assistant via the My JBL Headphones app.

Auto Play/Pause

The earbuds automatically pause music when removed from your ears and resume playback when reinserted.

Do More with the App

The My JBL Headphones app offers advanced features such as:

• Voice Assistant setup (Google Assistant, Alexa)
• Ambient Sound Control (ANC, Ambient Aware)
• Equalizer (EQ) settings for custom sound profiles
• Playback control customization

Hands-Free Voice Control

Using Google Assistant: Say “Ok Google” to activate and issue commands like:

• “Play my Workout playlist”
• “Turn up the volume”
• “Send a message”
• “What’s my schedule today?”
• “Set an alarm for 7 AM”

Using Alexa: Say “Alexa” to activate and issue commands like:

• “What’s the weather?”
• “Play today’s hits”
• “Turn on the lights”

Charging Methods:

• Connect the charging case via the USB-C cable.
• Place the charging case on a Qi-certified wireless charging pad (not included).

Charging Time: A 10-minute charge provides approximately 1 hour of playback.

LED Behaviors

The LEDs on the earbuds and charging case indicate connection status:

• BT Pairing: Flashing blue light (✨ BT Pairing)
• BT Connected: Solid blue light (? BT Connected)
• BT Not Connected: No light or specific pattern (⚫ BT Not Connected)

Battery Care

To prolong battery lifespan, fully charge at least once every 3 months. Battery life varies by use and settings.

The highest reported SAR value for head use during certification was 0.7975 W/kg. Use accessories that maintain a 0 mm separation distance between the user's head and the headset.
