For video instructions, exclusive offers, new releases, and more, search "WOLFANG Trail Camera" on YouTube and Facebook.
The WOLFANG Trail Camera uses normal AA batteries. After opening the battery case lock at the bottom left of the camera, you will find eight battery slots. Install a full set of 8 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity for each.
The camera can also be operated using an external power supply. Connect one end of the adapter to an external power supply and the other end to the DC-IN port at the bottom of the WOLFANG trail camera.
Insert the SD card into the card slot with the metal contacts facing down. Push until you hear a "click". The mode switch must be in the OFF position when inserting the card.
Shift the "Mode Switch" to choose the working status.
The camera is completely off. Only in OFF mode should you insert or remove the memory card or replace the batteries.
When switched from OFF to ON, the screen display will go into preview mode. You can manually record video, take photos, playback recorded files, or change settings.
In preview mode, the PIR sensor is on. When triggered, the light indicator will flash, but the camera will not automatically take photos or record videos.
If there is no operation, the camera will automatically enter working mode. There will be a delay time and a 10s countdown on the screen, after which the screen will go blank and button operation will be disabled.
When detecting animals or other moving objects, the camera will take photos or record videos when the PIR sensor is triggered, then return to standby.
When in manual photo mode, the display shows:
When in manual video mode, the display shows:
Push one end of the belt through the two brackets on the back of the camera. Thread the end of the strap through the buckle. Fasten the belt securely around a tree trunk by pulling the end of the strap firmly until there is no slack left.
To test whether the WOLFANG trail camera can effectively monitor your chosen area, perform this test to check the sensing angle and monitoring distance:
The height from the ground for placing the device should vary appropriately with the animal size. Generally, 3 to 6 feet is preferred. Potential false triggers due to temperature and motion disturbances can be avoided by not aiming the camera at a heat source or nearby tree branches or brush (especially on windy days).
Ensure the Power switch is in the ON position. Once switched to ON mode, the red work indicator LED will blink. Before activating automatic shooting, you can set camera parameters, install it in the shooting area, and adjust its direction and position so the lens is aligned with the shooting range.
When there is no operation, the camera will automatically have a delay time (30S/1MIN/3MIN) according to the setting. The red PIR light indicator will still flash, and the screen will display a 10-second countdown.
After the 10-second countdown, the screen turns black, the red PIR light indicator stops blinking, and the PIR sensor becomes active. The camera enters working mode and automatically monitors and captures moving animals or people.
The delay time and 10s countdown are set to allow sufficient time to close and lock the front cover of the camera and walk away. The PIR sensor is highly sensitive to ambient temperature. A greater temperature difference between the environment and your subject results in a farther possible sensing distance.
All photos and videos taken by the WOLFANG trail camera can be viewed directly on the built-in screen. Files can also be protected, unprotected, and deleted directly on the camera.
Put the power switch to the ON position, then press the
key twice to enter Replay mode. When using a PC (or Mac*) to view photos (or video clips*), first put the power switch to the
position. Then connect to the PC via a Type-C cable. You can then view images/videos saved on the SD card directly on the PC.This device, its accessories, batteries, and cables are recyclable.
