2. Description

  • Water flow failure.
  • E9 indicates a water flow switch error. When an E9 error occurs 3 times in 60 minutes, a manual system restart is required before the system can resume operation.
  • All units stop running.
  • Error code is displayed on main PCB and user interface.

3. Possible causes

  • The wire circuit is short connected or open.
  • Water flow rate is too low.
  • Water flow switch is damaged.
  • Main PCB is damaged.

4. Procedure

  • Initial State: E9 Error Displayed

  • Check: Water flow switch connection on main PCB is loose¹.

    • If Yes: Ensure the switch is connected properly.

    • If No:

      • Check: Water flow is insufficient.

        • If Yes: Check the water piping and valves. Make sure the water piping is clean, there is no air in the water piping and all valves are open. Make sure the water pump capacity is enough.

        • If No:

          • Check: Water flow switch is damaged.

            • If Yes: Replace the water flow switch.

            • If No: Replace main PCB.

Notes:

1. For 30kW and 60kW units, water flow switch connection is port CN8 on the main PCB.
