SNIGLAR Cot Assembly Instructions
Thank you for choosing IKEA. Please read these instructions carefully before assembling your SNIGLAR cot. Keep these instructions for future reference.
Important Safety Information
WARNING! To prevent falls:
- Use a mattress that is 120 mm thick or less.
- Adjust the mattress base to its lowest position before the child can sit up.
It is recommended to use a mattress that is 1200mm long, 600mm wide, and 100mm thick.

Assembly Steps

Step 1
Attach the side panels to the base using the provided screws and dowels. Ensure the parts are aligned correctly. The diagram shows a person using a screwdriver and hammer. Another diagram shows correct and incorrect ways to join parts, with the correct way showing a snug fit and the incorrect way showing a gap and splintered wood. A third diagram shows a person holding a screw and looking confused, then looking at an IKEA product with a phone.
Insert 4x screws (100001) and 4x wooden dowels (121114) into the designated holes. Use the Allen key (123756) to tighten the screws.

Step 2
Attach the mattress base supports. The diagram shows a person inserting dowels and screws into the base. It also shows two options for attaching the base, one with a cross indicating it's incorrect, and one with a checkmark indicating it's correct.
Insert 8x screws (10050797) and 8x wooden dowels (148624) into the mattress base supports.

Step 3
Insert the mattress base into the cot frame. The diagram shows the cot frame being tilted and the mattress base being slid into place. It also shows arrows indicating the direction of insertion. A close-up shows two screws being inserted with a screwdriver.
Secure the mattress base with 2x wooden dowels (121114).

Step 4
Attach the top rails. The diagram shows the cot being assembled from the bottom up. Screws are being inserted into the top rails. A close-up shows the screw insertion process.
Insert 4x screws (123756) and 4x wooden dowels (100001) into the top rails and tighten with the Allen key.

Step 5
Attach the screw caps. The diagram shows the final assembly of the cot. Screw caps are being pushed into the visible screw holes. A close-up shows the screw caps being inserted.
Press the 4x screw caps (102366) into the remaining visible screw holes.
Adjusting the Mattress Base
The mattress base can be adjusted to two different heights. The diagram shows the cot with the mattress base in the lower position and then in the higher position, with arrows indicating the adjustment.
To adjust the height, loosen the screws holding the mattress base, move the base to the desired position, and retighten the screws.
Care and Maintenance
Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Wipe dry with a clean cloth. Check regularly that all assembly fastenings are properly tightened.
