Electrical Installation
WARNING! Safety hazard! Installation and connection must only be performed by individuals with relevant electrical knowledge and experience. Improper installation risks personal injury, damage to property, and personal liability. Always consult an electrician.
Required Specialist Knowledge:
- Understanding of the "Five safety rules": Disconnect from mains, prevent accidental switch-on, ensure no voltage, earth and short-circuit, cover adjacent live parts.
- Use of suitable tools, measuring devices, and personal protective equipment.
- Analysis of measurement results.
- Use of electrical installation materials for safe disconnection.
- Understanding of IP protection ratings.
- Installation of electrical installation materials.
- Understanding of power supply types (TN, IT, TT systems) and connection criteria.
Installation Clearances
- Top: 40 mm
- Bottom: 20 mm
- Left and Right: 5 mm
- Increase space by 10-15 mm if adjacent device is a heat source.
- Install a multi-phase circuit breaker (e.g., residual current circuit breaker) and a correctly sized fuse or circuit breaker between the RCD and the product.
Product Specific Warnings
- Risk of electrical shock and energy hazard: All failures must be examined by a qualified technician. Do not remove the power supply case yourself.
- Risk of electric arcs and electric shock (danger to life): Connecting primary and secondary sides together is not allowed.
- Risk of burn hazard: Do not touch the unit during operation or shortly after disconnection.
- Risk of fire and short circuit: Protect openings from foreign objects or dripping liquids.
- Output current and wattage must not exceed rated values.
