Wiring Safety (UK Use Only)
IMPORTANT: As the colours in the mains lead may not correspond with the coloured markings in your plug, follow these instructions:
- The wires are labelled: Blue [N] Neutral, Brown [L] Live, Green/Yellow [EARTH].
- Plug Fitting Details:
- The blue wire connects to the [N] terminal.
- The brown wire connects to the [L] terminal.
- The green/yellow wire connects to the [E] terminal.
- Never connect the brown or blue wire to the [EARTH] terminal.
- Ensure the cord grip is fastened correctly.
- The plug must be fitted with a fuse conforming to BS 1362 and be ASTA approved.
If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician.
Non-Rewireable Mains Plug: If replacing the fuse in a non-rewireable plug, use only an ASTA approved fuse of the same rating (BS 1362).
If you need to remove the plug: disconnect it from the mains, cut it off, and dispose of it safely. Never attempt to reuse or insert it into a socket outlet due to the risk of electric shock.

- DO NOT pull the plug out by the cord, as this may damage the plug and/or cable.

- Ensure the appliance is used on a stable, level, and heat-resistant surface.

- DO NOT place the air fryer against a wall or other appliances. Maintain at least 10cm free space on the back and sides, and 10cm free space above the appliance.
- Allow the air fryer to cool down for approximately 30 minutes before handling or cleaning.
- Ensure food comes out golden-yellow, not dark brown. Remove burnt remnants.
- During hot air frying, hot steam is released through the air outlet openings. Keep hands and face at a safe distance from steam and outlet openings.
- Hot steam and air may escape when removing the drawer.
- Any dishes or accessories used in the air fryer will become hot. Always use oven gloves.
- ⚠️ WARNING: DO NOT fill the air fryer drawer with oil, as this may cause a fire hazard.
- Always put food to be fried in the drawer.
- DO NOT place anything on top of the air fryer.
- In the unlikely event of a fault, stop using the appliance immediately and seek advice from the Customer Support Team.
Getting Started
Before First Use:
- Remove the appliance from the packaging.
- Check for any damage to the cord or body.
- Dispose of packaging responsibly.
- Remove any stickers or labels.
- Thoroughly clean the drawer with hot water, washing-up liquid, and a non-abrasive sponge.
- Wipe the inside and outside of the appliance with a moist cloth.
- Do not fill the drawer with oil or frying fat; this is an oil-free fryer.
Note: This appliance uses very little or no oil.
Preparing for Use:
- Place the appliance on a stable, horizontal, and even surface. Do not place on a non-heat-resistant surface.
- Do not fill the drawer with oil or any other liquid.
- Do not place anything on top of the appliance, as this will disrupt airflow and affect cooking.
Automatic Switch Off:
The air fryer has a built-in timer that automatically shuts it down when it reaches zero. You can also manually switch it off by turning the timer dial anti-clockwise to zero; it will then switch off within 20 seconds.
Air Fryer Drawer Safety Switch:
A safety switch prevents accidental activation when the drawer is not properly situated or the timer is not set. Ensure the drawer is fully closed and the cooking timer is set before use.
Removing the Drawer:
Pull the handle to slide the drawer fully out. Note: If the drawer is removed while the unit is operating, it will stop working within 5 seconds.
Using Your Air Fryer
Air Frying Steps:
- Connect the mains plug ? into an earthed wall socket.
- Carefully pull the drawer out.
- Put the food in the drawer.
- Slide the drawer back into the air fryer, aligning it with the guides. CAUTION: The drawer gets very hot after use. Allow it to cool. Only hold by the handle.
- Determine the required cooking time (refer to the 'Settings' section).
- To switch on, turn the timer dial to the required cooking time. The fan will start, and pilot lights will illuminate.
- Turn the temperature control dial to the required temperature (refer to 'Settings'). Add 2 minutes to the cooking time if the appliance is cold.
Note: You can preheat the appliance without food by setting the timer for more than 2 minutes. Wait for the heating-up light to go out, then add food and set the required cooking time.
The timer starts counting down.
Note: Working lights may turn on/off periodically, indicating the heating element is cycling to maintain temperature.
Note: Excess oil from food collects at the bottom of the drawer.
During Cooking:
- Some foods require shaking halfway through. Pull out the drawer, shake it, and slide it back in. Tip: Set timer to half the cooking time, shake when the bell sounds, then set the remaining time.
- When the timer bell sounds, pull out the drawer and place it on a suitable surface.
- Check if food is ready. If not, slide the drawer back and set the timer for a few extra minutes.
- To remove food (e.g., fries), empty the drawer onto a plate. Do not turn the drawer upside down to avoid dripping excess oil. Caution: Drawer and food will be very hot. Steam may escape.
- Tip: Use tongs for large or fragile food.
The air fryer is ready for another meal.
Temperature Selection:
Turn the temperature dial clockwise to increase or counter-clockwise to decrease the temperature.

- Shaking food halfway optimizes results and prevents uneven frying.
- Add oil to fresh potatoes for crispier results; fry within minutes of adding oil.
- Be cautious with extremely greasy foods like sausages.
- Snacks suitable for ovens can also be prepared in the air fryer.
- Optimal amount for crispy fries is 500g.
- Use pre-made dough for quick filled snacks; it requires shorter cooking times.
- Place a baking tin or oven dish in the drawer for cakes, quiches, fragile, or filled foods.
- To reheat food, set temperature to 150°C for up to 10 minutes.

Cleaning & Care

Clean the appliance after every use.
Cleaning the appliance:
- Do not use metal utensils or abrasive cleaning materials, as they may damage the non-stick coating.
- Remove the mains plug ? from the wall socket and let the appliance cool down. Note: Remove the drawer to let the air fryer cool down more quickly.
- Wipe the outside with a moist cloth.
- Clean the drawer with hot water, washing-up liquid, and a non-abrasive sponge.
- Use degreasing liquid for stubborn dirt.
- Clean the grill plate with hot, soapy water.
- Note: The drawer is NOT dishwasher-safe. NEVER place it in the dishwasher.
- Tip: For stuck-on dirt at the bottom of the drawer, fill with hot water and washing-up liquid, and soak for approximately 10 minutes.
- Clean the inside of the appliance with hot water and a non-abrasive sponge.
- Clean the heating element with a cleaning brush to remove food residues.
To store your appliance:
- Ensure the air fryer is cool, clean, and dry before storing.
- Store in a cool and dry place.

Recipes
Homemade Fries
Ingredients:
- 2 large potatoes
- 1½ tbsp. paprika
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of pepper
- 1 tbsp. Sunflower oil
Method:
- Wash, peel, and slice the potatoes.
- Dry with kitchen paper.
- Cut the potatoes into your desired length and thickness.
- Bring a large pot of water to the boil with a pinch of salt. Add the chips and allow to part boil for 10 minutes.
- Strain the fries and immediately run under cold water to stop them from cooking further.
- Pour the oil in a bowl with the paprika, salt, and pepper. Add the fries and mix until coated.
- Remove fries from the bowl using fingers or a utensil, leaving excess oil behind.
- Place fries in the air fryer and set the fryer to cook as per the 'Settings Table'.
Variations: Replace ½ tbsp. paprika with ½ tbsp. garlic powder, or use ½ tbsp. grated parmesan cheese.
Bacon and Egg Breakfast Muffin
Ingredients:
- 1 free-range egg
- 1 strip of bacon
- 1 English muffin
- Cheese to slice
- Pinch of pepper and salt to taste
Method:
- Crack the egg into a small ramekin or oven-proof dish.
- Cut the English muffin in half and layer cheese on one half.
- Place the muffin, bacon, and egg (in the ramekin) into the Air Fryer drawer.
- Set the Air Fryer to 200°C for 6 minutes.
- Once cooked, assemble your breakfast muffin and enjoy.
Tip: Add some mustard on the muffin for extra flavour.
Honey Lime Chicken Wings
Ingredients:
- 12 chicken wings
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp white pepper
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
Method:
- Place all ingredients in a large mixing bowl or zip-locked bag and mix well. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours (preferably overnight).
- Line a baking tray with baking paper and evenly scatter the chicken wings across it.
- Cook the wings, turning halfway through, as per the suggested time and temperature in the 'Settings Table'.
Lemon Garlic Salmon
Ingredients:
- 4 skin-on salmon fillets
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Juice of 1 lemon
Method:
- Melt the butter and mix in the remaining ingredients to create a butter sauce.
- Coat the fish in the sauce on both sides and place it on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
- Place the baking tray inside the air fryer and cook as per the suggested time and temperature in the 'Settings Table'.
Molten Chocolate Lava Cake
Ingredients:
- 100g dark chocolate chips
- 100g unsalted butter
- 1 ½ tbsp. self-raising flour
- 2 eggs
- 2 ½ tbsp. sugar
Method:
- Melt the chocolate and butter, stirring constantly.
- Stir in the flour lightly and set the mixture aside.
- In a separate bowl, mix eggs and sugar until light and frothy. Slowly mix in the chocolate mixture until well blended.
- Pour the batter into an oven-safe cup or ramekin and place it inside the air fryer.
- Set the air fryer to 190°C for 6 minutes.
- Serve immediately, topped with ice cream if desired.
