Product Description
The Gaggenau AL200180 is an extendable table ventilation system from the 200 series, designed to be integrated seamlessly into kitchen worktops. It can be completely lowered into the worktop when not in use, offering a clean aesthetic. This model is ideal for flush mounting with 80 cm wide frameless induction cooktops. It features a transparent ventilation screen for discreet integration and ambient lighting that elegantly surrounds the glass edges.
The Guided Air technology ensures a high vapour catch rate across the entire cooktop surface.

Installation Guidelines
General Installation Notes:
- For installation in a single worktop cut-out, the installation accessory VA200080 must be used between appliances to ensure cabinet stability and include a connection strip and furniture supports.
- The table ventilation can be installed in the cabinet or between two cabinets (e.g., for an island installation deeper than 100 cm). No upper cabinets should be installed above the table ventilation to maintain optimum performance.
- Observe the following distances: 50 cm left and right of the table ventilation to the wall or neighboring tall cabinets, and 5 cm from the table ventilation frame to the wall.
- Installation is possible in worktops made of stone, synthetics, or solid wood. Ensure heat resistance and watertight sealing of cut edges. Consult the worktop manufacturer for other materials.
- For installing the fan unit at a distance, installation kit AA200910 is required (includes spare covers for closing air outlets). Maximum distance is 3 m.
- In air extraction mode, a one-way flap with a maximum opening pressure of 65 Pa should be installed.
- When operating the appliance simultaneously with a chimney-vented fireplace, ensure adequate fresh air in the room.
- For optimum performance in air recirculation, an outflow surface area of at least 440 cm² is recommended. An air recirculation module (AA200880 or AA200882) is required.
Compatibility:
- Compatible with 80cm frameless cooktops from the 400 series (CX 482) or 200 series (CI 282), in a single worktop cut-out.
- Must be ordered and installed with one of the following Gaggenau kits: CA084010 (fully ducted extraction), CA082010 (air recirculation), or CA082020 (partially ducted recirculation).
- Flat ducting elements (DN 150) must be ordered separately.
