Known Issues and Workarounds

Module Issue Description Workaround Solution
Aircraft After installing the obstacle sensing module, the ascent/descent speed of the aircraft will be limited to no more than 4.5 m/s, and the horizontal flight speed during a flight route task will be limited to no more than 15 m/s. No workaround needed. Maintain the flight speed limit as required.
Aircraft When operating at night with Obstacle Data enabled and entry/exit route enabled, if RTH is triggered at a flight distance of less than 100 m from the exit point, the aircraft cannot follow the exit/entry route for RTH. It will fly to the home point in a straight line at the current altitude or the RTH altitude and land.
If the obstacle sensing module is installed and detects an obstacle ahead during RTH, the aircraft will ascend to bypass the obstacle. It will stop climbing once the path is clear and continue returning home.
Adjust the flight route to avoid triggering RTH too close to the exit point.
Aircraft When operating at night with Obstacle Data enabled and an operating altitude of less than 60 m, the aircraft will fly backward for 100 m on its original route before ascending to the preset altitude during the RTH process. This issue will be fixed in later versions.
Aircraft When there are obstacles below the aircraft, if the pilot manually pushes and holds the control stick to descend continuously, the aircraft fail to distinguish between the ground and the obstacles. In this case, obstacle sensing may fail and the aircraft will land directly. If manual control is needed, ensure that there is no obstacle below the aircraft.
Dock If Dock Site Evaluation is not completed before deployment, the aircraft RTK or the dock RTK may fail to converge in some obstructed environments. Complete Dock Site Evaluation before deployment to ensure that the installation site for fixed-mounted deployment meets the environmental requirements.
Dock / D-RTK 3 The firmware versions of the dock and D-RTK 3 are not compatible. Make sure firmware of the dock and D-RTK 3 are all updated to the latest version. Otherwise, usage will be affected.
Remote Controller The separately purchased remote controller cannot link with the aircraft. Update the device firmware to the latest version and switch the aircraft model to Matrice 4D Series in the homepage of DJI Pilot 2.
Dock In vehicle-mounted deployment mode, after calibrating the dock location, DJI FlightHub 2 still displays the coordinates before calibration in the manual calibration page. The dock location has actually been successfully calibrated. The displayed coordinates are those determined by auto convergence and are not the calibrated coordinates.
Aircraft If the distance between the remote controller and the aircraft exceeds 200 m, the update will fail during firmware update, flight route upload in Al Spot-Check, and No-Fly Zone database upload. Ensure the distance between the aircraft and the remote controller is within 200 m during these processes.
Aircraft When Night Scene mode is enabled on a cold night (below -20°C / -4°F), the Visible Light view occasionally displays slightly green. The Visible Light view displays normally during the day. Disabling the Night Scene mode at night can reduce the slightly green displayed in the Visible Light view.
Aircraft In certain scenarios, visual obstacle avoidance may be easily triggered by mistake, such as in foggy environments or at night with bright lights. Check if the sensing system lenses are clean. The aircraft is more likely to mistakenly avoid obstacles when the lenses are dirty. Ensure the sensors are clean before flight.
Aircraft When the firmware versions of the remote controller and aircraft are incompatible, malfunctions may occur. Please update the aircraft, remote controller, and DJI Pilot 2 app to the latest version.
Battery The battery level is below 20% when unboxed. No workaround is needed. Aviation transport regulations require that the battery level not exceed 30%, it is normal for the battery level to be below 20%. It is recommended to charge the battery with the charging hub until the power level is above 20% before updating to the latest firmware.
Dock The dock fails to automatically switch to the dongle for network access when the connected wired network has no internet access. Restart the dock, or connect the dock to a wired network with normal internet access. This issue will be fixed in later versions.
Aircraft / Remote Controller Under Airborne Relay, updating the firmware of the main aircraft using the remote controller may occasionally fail if the relay aircraft is powered off and the main aircraft is switched. Restart the main remote controller and try updating again. This issue will be fixed in later versions.
Dock / Aircraft Linking will fail if it is triggered when updating the device firmware or uploading files to the aircraft (such as importing GEO zones data). Wait for the firmware update or file upload process to complete before linking. This issue will be fixed in later versions.
