What's Not Included

The Monthly Data Allowance included with this plan cannot be shared with any other services. Calls and data outside of the inclusions will be charged separately.

Minimum costs include self-installation and service activation fee ($99). ETC is calculated as 50% of the minimum monthly charge multiplied by the number of months remaining in the contract term, plus any outstanding hardware repayments.

Information About the Service

Telstra Business Bundles on ADSL are also known as Telstra BizEssentials™ plans. These plans include:

  • A phone service on the PSTN network.
  • A broadband service on ADSL or ADSL2+.

Eligibility requires you to:

  • Be a business customer.
  • Be billed directly by Telstra for access and local calls.
  • Pre-select Telstra for long distance, international, and mobile calls.

These plans are not compatible with entertainment services (e.g., Telstra TV® and Foxtel from Telstra).

Hardware

A compatible phone is required but not included. Telstra provides a Telstra Business Smart Modem™ supporting voice services at no cost for new services. A fee of up to $240 may apply if the service is cancelled within 24 months for the modem.

Mobile Broadband Back-up

Your plan includes a mobile broadband back-up service usable with the Telstra Business Smart Modem™. This provides internet access during broadband outages. Some services may not function in back-up mode (e.g., on-premise services using Static IP). Misuse of the back-up service may lead to suspension, limitation, or cancellation with 7 days' notice.

Free On-Account Calls Benefit

Provides standard voice calls within Australia between eligible Telstra mobile services and your fixed phone on a Single Bill. A Fair Use Policy applies.

Other Charges

In addition to the monthly charge, connection and installation charges may apply:

  • Phone and Broadband connection charge: $99 for new Telstra Phone or Broadband customers (waived if Standard Professional Installation is requested).
  • Self Installation: Free for Telstra Business Smart Modem™.
  • Standard Professional Installation: $240 if a technician visits.
  • Non-standard installations: Additional charges apply for complex, remote, or additional connection points.

Changing or Cancelling Your Plan

You can change to another eligible plan once a month during your minimum term without re-contracting or incurring Early Termination Charges (ETC).

Moving to the nbn™ network

Your 24-month contract may overlap with the nbn™ network rollout. Contact Telstra for transfer options. If no transfer is made, services will be disconnected as required by law without ETC.

Understanding Your Bill

Bills are issued monthly. You are billed in advance for the minimum monthly charge and in arrears for unincluded usage. Initial bills may vary due to partial billing periods or service connection timing.

Fair Use Policy

Services must be used reasonably and not fraudulently or in a way that interferes with the network. Breach of the Fair Use Policy may result in service suspension or cancellation.
