Correctly fitting the beveled gasket to the flush valve shank.

Positioning the tank assembly without putty and leveling it using the wing nuts.
Connecting the supply line and ensuring the refill tube adaptor is correctly placed.
Crucially, hand-tightening all plastic parts to avoid damage and voiding the warranty.

Important Precautions

ATTENTION:

Never use pipe dope or tools on plastic parts; hand-tighten only. Over-tightening can cause damage and void the warranty.
Avoid exposing plastic trim parts to strong oxidizing agents, chlorine, or acidic environments with a pH below 5.0. Certain bowl or tile cleaners may contain these substances and can lead to component failure.
