Introduction
This quick start guide will help you get your DIGITUS Smart PDU up and running. For more detailed information on operation, please refer to the corresponding user manual, available at Digitus.info.
1. Safety Advice
- Installation and use must be performed by qualified personnel only, following these instructions.
- The manufacturer is not liable for damages or injuries resulting from improper use.
- The device contains no user-serviceable parts. All maintenance must be performed by factory-trained service personnel.
- The device contains potentially hazardous voltages and should not be opened or disassembled.
- Connect only to 230V AC (50 Hz or 60 Hz) power supply sockets.
- Ensure power cords, plugs, and sockets are in good condition and properly grounded.
- Intended for indoor use only. Do not install in areas with excessive moisture or heat.
- Do not modify the device without authorization for safety and homologation reasons.
- This device is not a toy. Keep out of reach of children.

2. Installation
Device Overview:
The DIGITUS Smart PDU is a 0U rack-mountable power distribution unit featuring 16 C13 outlets and 4 C19 outlets.
Device Display and Controls:
Component | Description |

1. LCD Display | Illuminated two-line LCD display (16 x 2 characters). Displays voltage, current, power, and energy consumption. |
2. "Select" Button | Used for navigating or selecting options. |
3. Status LED | Indicates the device's status. A red light signifies that the device is not connected to the Ethernet. |
4. Sensor Port | Port for connecting sensors. |
5. LAN Port | Ethernet port for network connectivity. |

3. Accessing the Web Interface
You can access the device's web interface as follows:
- Open a web browser on a PC connected to the same network.
- Enter the following into the browser's address bar:
http://<device IP address>/
(Default IP: 192.168.0.2) - Log in.
4. Using the GBL_Conf Configuration Program
If the device cannot be found at the specified IP address, use the GBL_Conf configuration program. This program allows you to configure all network and security settings, and restore the device to its default settings.
Steps to use GBL_Conf:
- Download the latest version of GBL_Conf from Digitus.info and follow the installation instructions.
- Open GBL_Conf. All devices found on the network will appear in the left window.
- Double-click the device name to automatically open its web interface in your web browser.
GBL_Conf Interface Description:
The GBL_Conf application window displays software version information (e.g., GBL_Conf 2.7.7, Firmware Version: v2.5) and network configuration details for detected devices. This includes MAC Address, IP Address, Netmask, and Gateway.
