Steinbach Poolrunner SMART RXB 450
Original owner's manual
About This Manual
This manual is part of the SMART RXB 450 pool cleaner (referred to as "the device"). It contains important information for commissioning and operation. Before using the device, carefully read the manual, especially the safety instructions. Failure to follow this manual may result in severe injuries or damage to the device. Keep the manual for future use. If you provide the device to third parties, always include this manual.
Intended Use
This device is exclusively intended for the continuous cleaning of the bottom and walls of private, foil-lined swimming pools with a foil thickness of more than 0.4 mm. It is suitable for pools with a flat, smooth bottom and walls without obstacles (e.g., floor inlets, steps, or stairs). The device is designed for pools with vertical, smooth walls and where the water level is below the pool edge (not for overflow pools). Cleaning performance may be reduced in pools made of other materials (e.g., laminate, stainless steel, or tiles) due to surface structure. The device is not intended for removing large amounts of sediment found in pools with biological water treatment (e.g., biotope ponds or natural pools). It is intended exclusively for private use and is not suitable for commercial use. Use the device only as described in this manual. Any other use is considered improper use and may cause material damage or even health damage. The device is not a toy for children. The manufacturer and seller are not liable for damages caused by improper or incorrect use.

Pool Cleaning
Before cleaning the pool, pay attention to the following points:
- Remove any covers or films from the pool.
- Remove obstacles from the pool (e.g., ladder).
- Turn off the pool's filter system at least one hour before starting cleaning, so that dirt can settle on the bottom.
To Clean the Pool, Proceed as Follows:

- Insert the device into the pool and switch it on.
Inserting the Filter
- Open the cover [Part 7].
- Insert the filter unit [Part 3] into the suction channel.
- Close the cover [Part 7] until it locks into place. The filter is inserted.
Mounting the Buoyancy Aid
- Open the flap [Part 7].
- Attach the adhesive buoyancy aids to the inside of the flap [Part 7].
- Close the flap [Part 7] until it locks into place. The buoyancy aids are attached.
Inserting the Device into the Pool and Starting Cleaning
The device can be used as delivered without the app. Optionally, there is the possibility to optimize the preset cleaning program (see "Description" chapter) according to individual requirements. The desired settings must be made before operation and without water. The settings will then be saved.
