The product overview shows the earphone with numbered components: 1. LED Indicator, 2. Multi Function Button (MFB), 3. Charging contact point, 4. Speaker Areas, 5. USB-C Charging Port. The charging case also has a 6. Charging Indicator.
Power On/Off
To turn on the earphones, simply open the charging case lid and remove the earphones. They will power on automatically. To turn them off and begin charging, place the earphones back into the charging case and close the lid.
Charging Case Charging
Use the provided USB-C charging cable to charge the case. The charging case indicator light will show the charging status, remaining lit when the case is fully charged.
Pairing
When you first take the earphones out of the charging case, they will automatically power on and enter pairing mode, indicated by a "pairing" voice prompt. To connect to a new device, enable Bluetooth on your mobile phone and search for "Monster Open Ear 101". Once paired successfully, you will hear a "connected" voice prompt.
Controls
Volume Control
- To decrease volume: Double-tap the MFB on the left earphone while music is playing.
- To increase volume: Double-tap the MFB on the right earphone while music is playing.
Call Management
- To answer or end a call: Single-tap the MFB.
- To reject an incoming call: Press and hold the MFB for approximately 2 seconds.
Music Playback
- To play or pause music: Single-tap the MFB.
- To go to the previous song: Press and hold the MFB on the left earphone for approximately 2 seconds.
- To go to the next song: Press and hold the MFB on the right earphone for approximately 2 seconds.
Voice Control
When the earphones are connected to your phone, triple-tap the MFB to activate or deactivate your phone's voice assistant.
Resetting the Earphones
If the earphones are powered on but not connected to a Bluetooth device, simultaneously press the MFB on both the left and right earphones five times to restore them to factory settings.

Cautions
- After removing earphones from the charging case, they will automatically connect to each other. If no previous connection is found, they will enter automatic pairing mode without needing to press any buttons.
- Ensure earphones are placed in the correct L/R positions in the charging case for proper charging.
- Battery replacement by the user is not recommended.
- Do not expose the battery pack to excessive heat, such as direct sunlight or fire.

These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. The device has been evaluated to meet general RF exposure requirement. The device can be used in portable exposure condition without restriction.
