Setup Process
Follow these simple installation steps to set up your WiFi CampPro 2.
1. Initial Login and Password Setup
Upon first setup of the WiFi CampPro 2, you will be prompted to create a password for future access. For basic security, passwords must be at least 8 characters long.
Screenshot Description: A login screen titled "Please setup the password to access setup in the future" is shown. It includes fields for 'Login' (pre-filled with 'admin'), 'Password', and 'Repeat password'. A note indicates 'password must be at least 8 characters'.
After setting your password, click the "[Submit button]" to proceed to the setup page.
2. Network Discovery
If your WiFi CampPro 2 hardware is installed correctly, you should see the Network Discovery page. This page lists available networks with their SSID, Signal strength, Channel (CH), and MAC address.
Note: If this page does not appear, refer to the Troubleshooting section.
Screenshot Description: A table displays network information. Columns include 'Network Name (SSID)', 'Signal' (represented by colored bars), 'CH', and 'MAC'. Example SSIDs shown are 'WISP-NR', 'Alfa hotspot', '80_2G', 'WiFiCampPro2-PM'.
3. Selecting a Network to Extend
Select the Hotspot AP you wish to connect to and click "[Select >]".
Screenshot Description: The network list is shown again, with a highlighted button labeled "Select >" next to the '80_2G' network.
4. Hotspot Configuration
Enter the Hotspot password if required by the selected network. You will also set up your own WiFi CampPro 2 Wireless Password for device access.
Note: If multiple APs share the same name, you can use the "Lock Hotspot MAC" option to specify which AP to connect to.
Screenshot Description: The "Hotspot configuration" interface is displayed. Key fields include:
- Hotspot Name: Click to pick the network you want to extend.
- Lock Hotspot MAC: Toggle [On/Off] to restrict connection to a specific MAC address.
- Encryption: Automatically detected (e.g., WPA2-PSK). Supported types include No Encryption, WEP, WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK, and WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK Mixed Mode.
- Hotspot Password: Enter the password for the network you are extending.

The "Internet configuration" section allows setting the Network Name and Network Password for the CampPro 2's own Wi-Fi network.
Click "[BACK]" to return or "[FINISH >>]" to complete the setup.
5. Finalizing and Restarting
After entering all required information, click "[FINISH >>]". The device will apply changes and restart.
Note: Please reconnect to the Wi-Fi using the correct SSID and network password after the device restarts. The network name might be "WiFiCampPro2-A56BE8" based on your settings.
6. Verifying Connection
Upon successful setup and restart, the status page will display connection information, typically indicated by a green "Connected" status.
Screenshot Description: The ALFA NETWORK interface shows "Internet Status CONNECT". The "Status" section details the connection: Type (USB Wireless), SSID, RSSI (Bitrate), Address, Gateway, DNS, Expires, Uptime, and Session. The "WiFiCampPro2 Status" section provides details about the device's own Access Point (SSID, Channel, Bitrate, BSSID, Encryption). The "Linked Devices Status" and "System" information are also displayed.
Troubleshooting
USB Device Not Found: If you encounter the "USB device not found" error, ensure the ALFA USB-WLAN adapter is connected to the USB port before powering on the WiFiCampPro2. If the adapter is not detected, the device may not function correctly.
