Your Ears' Safety
To ensure optimal performance and protect your hearing, set the volume to a reasonable level. The sound should be clear and free of distortion. Over time, your hearing adapts to higher volumes, making what seems "normal" potentially harmful. Set your equipment at a safe level before your hearing adapts.
Establish a Safe Level:
- Set volume control at a low setting.
- Slowly increase volume until clear and comfortable, without distortion.
- Once comfortable, set and leave volume.
Observe These Guidelines:
- Do not turn volume so high that you cannot hear your surroundings.
- Use caution or temporarily discontinue use in hazardous situations.
- Do not use headphones while operating a motorized vehicle; this is a traffic hazard and illegal in many areas.
