Radio Controls
The radio has the following controls:
- 1. On/Off Button: [Power Button] Turns the radio on and off.
- 2. LED Indicators: Indicate the radio's status.
- 3. Volume Up/Down Buttons: [Volume Control] Adjust the audio volume.
- 4. Display: Shows information and status icons.
- 5. Channel Up/Down Buttons: [Channel Select] Change the radio channel.
- 6. Speaker: [Audio Output] Produces sound.
- 7. Return/Home Button: [Navigation] Returns to the previous menu or the home screen.
- 8. Front Programmable Buttons: [Programmable Keys] Customizable buttons for quick access to functions.
- 9. Menu/OK Button: [Menu Navigation] Accesses menus and confirms selections.
- 10. Accessory Connector: [Accessory Port] For connecting external accessories.
Turning the Radio On and Off
Press the On/Off button.
Adjusting the Volume
Press the Volume Up or Volume Down button.
LED Indicators
- Blinking Red: Radio failed self-test, out of range (with ARTS configured), receiving emergency transmission, or transmitting at low battery.
- Solid Green: Radio powering up, transmitting, or sending a Call Alert or emergency transmission.
- Blinking Green: Radio receiving a call or data, detecting over-the-air activity, or retrieving Over-the-Air Programming transmissions.
- Double Blinking Green: Radio receiving a privacy-enabled call or data.
- Solid Yellow: Radio monitoring a conventional channel.
- Blinking Yellow: Radio scanning for activity, has yet to respond to a Call Alert, or all Capacity Plus-Multi-Site channels are busy.
- Double Blinking Yellow: Auto Roaming enabled, has yet to respond to a Group Call Alert, actively searching for a new site, not connected to the repeater in Capacity Plus, locked, or all Capacity Plus channels are busy.
Display Icons
The following icons appear on the status bar at the top of the radio display. Icons are arranged left-most in order of appearance or usage, and are channel-specific.
