THINKWARE DASH CAM™ ARC 700 Quick Start Guide -1CH
Introduction
This guide provides essential information for setting up your THINKWARE DASH CAM™ ARC 700 (1CH model).
Power the Dash Cam
Use one of the following options to power your dash cam. The included cable options may vary depending on the dash cam model purchased.
Illustration shows three power cable options:1. A 12V Power Cable, designed to plug into a vehicle's cigarette lighter socket.2. A Hardwiring Cable, featuring a fuse tap and bare wires for connection to the vehicle's electrical system. Marked with an asterisk (*).3. An OBD-II Cable, for connection to the vehicle's OBD-II port. Marked with an asterisk (*).
- To enable Parking Surveillance mode, the dash cam needs to be powered by either the OBD-II Cable or Hardwiring Cable (professional installation recommended).
- THINKWARE strongly recommends professional installation by a trained mechanic. Contact an authorized service center to connect the hardwiring cable to the vehicle. If the product is not installed properly, the product may be damaged, or an electrical fire or electrocution may occur.
