Assembly Steps
Step 1
Insert two cam bolts (1) into the pre-drilled holes on panel K and panel L. Insert two dowels (3) into the corresponding holes on panel K. Attach the L bracket (9) to panel K using two pan head screws (5). The diagram shows cam bolts and dowels inserted into panel K, and an L bracket attached to the side of panel K.
Step 2
Insert cam bolts (1) into panels A and B. Insert dowels (3) into panels D and E. Attach panels D and E to panel A, ensuring the 'ARROW FACING OUTWARD' is correctly oriented. Secure using cam locks (2). Repeat for panel B. The diagram shows cam bolts and dowels inserted into panels A, B, D, and E, with panels D and E being attached to panel A using cam locks.
Step 3
Insert cam bolts (1) into panel A. Attach panel E to panel A, aligning the cam bolts with the cam lock holes. Turn the cam bolts 180 degrees to secure. The diagram shows cam bolts inserted into panel A and panel E being attached.
Step 4
Attach panels J, K, and D to panel A, aligning the cam bolts and dowels with the corresponding holes. Turn the cam bolts 180 degrees to secure. The diagram shows panels J, K, and D being attached to the structure formed in previous steps.
Step 5
Insert cam bolts (1) into panel C. Attach panel C to the assembled unit, aligning the cam bolts with the cam lock holes. Turn the cam bolts 90 degrees to secure. The diagram shows cam bolts inserted into panel C and panel C being attached to the top of the unit.
Step 6
Ensure the unit is square by checking that the diagonal measurements are equal. Attach the upper back panel (L) and bottom back panel (E) to the rear of the assembled unit using power pins (6). A warning indicates that the back panel must be attached securely and pins driven straight to prevent instability, product collapse, and serious injury. The diagram shows the back panels being attached with pins.
Step 7
Attach drawer brackets (11) to the drawer sides (G) using pan head screws (5). This step is repeated for each of the four drawers. The diagram shows two drawer brackets being attached to the side of a drawer component.
Step 8
Attach drawer slides (M) to the side panels (G, F) of the dresser frame using pan head screws (5). The diagram shows drawer slides being attached to the interior sides of the dresser frame.
Step 9
Attach the drawer slides (CR, CL) to the drawer side panels (G, H) using drive fasteners (7) and handle screws (8). The diagram shows the drawer slides being attached to the sides of the drawer components.
Step 10
Attach the drawer slides (DR) to the drawer side panels (G) using flat head screws (4). The diagram shows drawer slides being attached to the sides of the drawer components, indicating screw positions.
Step 11: Wall Mounting
Attach the wall mounting set (13) to the top rear of the dresser. Secure the dresser to a wall stud using the provided hardware, passing through the wallboard. The diagram illustrates attaching a bracket to the dresser and then to a wall stud.
Step 12: Recommended Maximum Weight & Warnings
The dresser is designed to support a maximum load of 20 lbs on the top surface and 15 lbs on the drawers. A warning states that exceeding these load limits could cause sagging, instability, product collapse, and/or serious injury. It also advises against allowing children to climb on the unit and to place heavier items on lower shelves. The diagram visually represents these weight limits.
