The eufy S220 SoloCam is a wireless outdoor security camera designed for continuous power and high-resolution monitoring.

Charging the S220 SoloCam
The camera can be charged via its solar panel or the USB-C port.

Setting Up the S220 SoloCam
- Download and install the "eufy Security" app from your device's app store.
- Sign up for an account or log in.
- Follow the on-screen instructions within the app to add your SoloCam to your account.
Mounting the S220 SoloCam
Select a Location
The S220 SoloCam can be mounted on a wall to achieve your desired view. For optimal performance:
- Recommended Height: Mount the camera 7-10 ft (2-3 m) above ground level.
- Sunlight Exposure: Choose a location where the solar panel receives ample sunlight to maximize charging efficiency.
The camera provides a wide field of view, and its motion detection zone can cover areas up to 26 ft (8 m) away.
Mounting Procedure
The S220 SoloCam can be mounted both indoors and outdoors.
- Disassemble the mount: Loosen the mount cover by turning it counterclockwise.
- Prepare for mounting:
- For hard surfaces (e.g., brick, concrete): Drill holes using a 15/64 in (6 mm) drill bit and insert the provided anchors.
- For soft surfaces (e.g., wood): Skip the drilling and anchoring step.
- Secure the mount base: Firmly screw the base of the mount onto the wall.
- Reassemble the mount and attach the camera: Reassemble the mount components and then screw the SoloCam onto the mount.
- Position the camera: Ensure the solar panel faces the sky. Adjust the camera's position to achieve the desired view, using the live stream in the eufy Security app to confirm.

Operating Temperature: The recommended temperature range for the device and accessories is -20°C to 50°C (-4°F to 122°F). Avoid using the device outside these limits, in direct sunshine, or in excessively wet environments.
Recommended Supply Environment: For initial setup and charging, use an environment with temperatures between 5°C and 25°C, with normal room temperature and good ventilation.
