Warranty Information
The Warranty
This appliance is intended for domestic use. The warranty covers repair or replacement of the product if it is not of acceptable quality within 7 years of the original purchase date. The warranty applies to goods supplied and installed in the North and South Islands of New Zealand and is in addition to your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

The Warranty is not valid if:
- The product is not installed and operated according to instructions.
- Installation does not comply with New Zealand electrical, gas, plumbing regulations.
- The product is operated outside normal domestic use or in a business.
- The serial number has been removed or defaced.
- Proof of purchase is not supplied.
- The products are purchased second-hand.
Liability under this warranty will not be accepted for:
- Wear and tear from normal domestic use.
- Damage in transport.
- Damage caused by neglect, abuse, negligence, wilful act or misuse.
- Costs associated with repair, replacement, removal or reinstallation in damaged conditions.
- Defects caused by accident, misuse, neglect, tampering, or unauthorized modifications.
- Service calls for instruction on use, house fuses, gas fittings, plumbing, normal maintenance (e.g., blocked filters), consumable items (e.g., light bulbs), damage from spills, glass items, damage from non-recommended cleaning products, installation issues, or third-party consequential loss.
Safety Instructions & Warnings
General Safety
- Read and understand all safety instructions before use.
- Children aged 8 and above, and persons with reduced capabilities, can use the appliance under supervision and if they understand the hazards.
- Children shall not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and user maintenance must be done by children only under supervision.
- Children under 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
- The rear surface of the appliance should be placed against a wall.
Possible Electric Shocks
- Disassembly, repair, or modification should only be done by professional maintenance staff.
- Ensure the household electrical supply system (current, voltage, cable) meets the dryer's requirements and includes suitable safety devices.
- The power plug must be connected to a three-core, earthed socket.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, service agent, or similarly qualified persons.
- Do not disconnect the power plug by pulling the cord; hold the plug itself.
- Do not use the supply cord if the connection is loose.
- Do not touch the power plug with wet hands.
- Do not over-bend the supply cord or place heavy objects on it.
- Do not use the supply cord, socket, or power plug if damaged or broken.
Possible Explosions
- Do not place combustible liquids (gasoline, petrol, alcohol) in or near the appliance.
- Do not dry clothes contaminated with these liquids.
- Do not connect/disconnect the power plug when there is a gas leak.
Fire Accidents / Short Circuit / Electric Leakage
- Do not install the appliance near fire sources or heat sources.
- Do not place burning candles or cigarettes on the appliance.
- Do not install in damp places or where exposed to rain.
- Do not install in direct sunlight, as it can age plastic and rubber components.
- Do not use water jets for cleaning.
- Do not dry items that accumulate heat, such as cushions and quilts, to avoid excessive drying.
- If laundry has been treated with stain remover, perform an extra rinse cycle before drying.
- Ensure no lighters or matches are left in pockets.
- Items soiled with cooking oil, acetone, alcohol, petrol, kerosene, spot removers, turpentine, waxes, or wax removers should be washed in hot water with extra detergent before drying.
- A carpet must not obstruct the openings in the base.
- Ensure adequate ventilation to prevent backflow of gases from other appliances.
- Keep ventilation openings clear of obstructions in built-in structures.
- Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
- Never stop a tumble dryer before the end of the cycle unless items are quickly removed and spread out to dissipate heat.
- The appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device or timer.
Personal Injury May Occur
- This machine is not intended for use by unsupervised young children or infirm persons.
- Package materials can be dangerous to children; keep them out of reach.
- Do not touch laundry in the drum until the dryer stops completely.
- Keep children and pets away from the working dryer.
- Check the drum carefully before closing the door.
Other Instructions
- This appliance is designed for domestic use only.
- Only dry fabrics designed for machine drying; follow garment label instructions.
- Electrical work should be done by a qualified electrician.
- If on carpet, adjust feet for air circulation underneath.
- Do not climb on the dryer or place heavy objects on it.

- Do not dry foam rubber, shower caps, waterproof textiles, rubber-backed articles, or items with foam rubber pads.
- Always unplug the appliance after use for cleaning and maintenance.
- Do not overload the appliance.
- Do not place dripping wet clothes in the dryer.
- Do not machine dry garments exposed to volatile petroleum products or volatile cleaning fluids. Ensure fluids are removed before drying.
- Never use the dryer if the power supply cable, control panel, or base are damaged.
- Do not use if industrial chemicals have been used for cleaning.
- Keep the area around the dryer free of lint.
- Do not dry unwashed items.
- Use fabric softeners as specified.
- The cool-down cycle ensures items are left at a safe temperature.
- Ensure exhaust air is not discharged into a flue used for gas appliances.
- Ensure ventilation openings are clear in built-in installations.
- Do not install behind a door that restricts full opening.
- Place the machine in a clean, dry area, away from combustible materials.
- Adjust feet for stability and to minimize vibration and noise.
Controls and Product Description
Select the Buzzer
The buzzer can be turned on or off by pressing "Anti crease" and "Delay start" buttons simultaneously. The indicator light shows its status.
Select the Dry Level
Choose from three dry levels: Heavy, Strong, or Normal. This option is available for specific programs (Daily, Cotton, Synthetic, Bulky Item, Towel).
Select the Anti-creasing
Anti-creasing is a default setting that can be selected on or off while the program is running.
Select Delay Start
Delay the start of the program by up to 24 hours, in 1-hour increments. Press "Start/Pause" to begin the delayed process.
Display
The display shows program duration, remaining time, and error codes (e.g., "ErS").
Select the Start/Pause
Press to start the program. If the door is opened during operation, press again after closing to resume.
Indicator Lights
Various lights indicate the dryer's status: Drying, Cooling, End of Programme, Anti-creasing, Filter Cleaning Reminder, Child Lock, Buzzer, Delay Start, Drying Type, and Tank Full.

Using the Dryer
First Use
- Ensure electrical connections comply with installation instructions.
- Remove all packing materials from the drum.
- Run a short cycle with damp cloths to clean the interior.
Daily Use
- Open the door and place laundry, shaking items to distribute them.
- Close the door, ensuring no laundry is caught.
- Select the required program using the program selector dial. The corresponding light will illuminate.
Automatic Controlled Drying
The dryer uses a moisture sensor to automatically adjust drying time for optimal results. This feature is available for most programs except "Time", "Refresh", and "Warm Air".
Programme Option Buttons
Combine different functions by selecting them after the program and before pressing "Start/Pause".
End of the Programme
All programs end with a 2-minute cooling phase. An optional 10-minute anti-creasing phase follows if laundry is not removed. The dryer stops automatically after this phase. Turn the selector dial to "off" to deactivate all lights.
"Child Lock" Functions
Press and hold "Time" and "Dry Level" for several seconds to lock all buttons except "off". To unlock, repeat the process. The lock is released if the door is opened, the filter drawer is removed, or the water tank is full.
After Each Use
If a program is stopped early, turn the dial to "Air Dry" and wait for the cooling phase before removing laundry to prevent heat buildup.
Modifying the Program
To change a running program, turn the dial to "off", select the new program, and press "Start".
Before Loading the Laundry
- Do not tumble dry: net curtains, woolens, silk, fabrics with metal trim, nylon tights, bulky materials (anoraks, blankets, sleeping bags), or items with foam rubber.
- Always follow garment label instructions.
- Close pillowcases and covers, fasten zips, hooks, and press studs.
- Sort laundry by type and required drying degree.
- Do not over-dry laundry to avoid creasing and save energy.
- Avoid drying dark clothes with light-colored items to prevent fluff transfer.
- Spin laundry thoroughly before tumble drying.
- Easy-care items like shirts may require brief pre-spinning.
- Knitted textiles may shrink; consider this when choosing sizes.
- For a starched effect, use the "Iron dry" program. Wipe the drum with a damp cloth afterward.
- Use fabric softener or conditioner to avoid static charge.
- Remove laundry promptly. If items are still damp, use a brief post-drying time.
- Ensure no metal objects (hair clips, safety pins) are left in laundry.
- Button pillowcases, close zippers, and tie belts.
- Turn items with double-layered fabrics inside out for better drying.

Care and Cleaning
General Cleaning
- Disconnect the appliance from the electricity supply before cleaning.
- Do not spray water directly onto the dryer.
- Do not use benzene, thinner, alcohol, or acetone for cleaning, as it may cause discoloration, deformation, or damage.
- Ensure the power cord is unplugged during cleaning.
- Moisture may accumulate on the control panel or door during the drying cycle.
Control Panel
- Clean with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive substances.
- Do not spray cleaners directly on the panel.
- Avoid using laundry pre-treatment or stain remover products directly on the panel.
Stainless Steel Tumbler
- Clean with a damp cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner suitable for stainless steel.
- Remove cleaner residue and dry with a clean cloth.
Cleaning the Door
Periodically clean the interior of the door to remove fluff for accurate drying.
Dryer Exterior
- Clean the high-gloss finish with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive substances.
- Protect the surface from sharp objects.
- Do not place heavy or sharp objects or detergent boxes on the dryer.
Cleaning the Filter
- Warning: Do not use the appliance without the filter.
- Open the loading door and remove the lint filter.
- Clean lint, fibre, and cotton raveling by hand or with a soft cloth.
- Wash the filter with warm water if clogged and dry completely before reinstalling.
- Clean the lint trap frequently.
- Warning: Always clean the lint filter and inner surfaces of the loading door after each drying process.
Water Container Emptied
The water container collects water from the condenser. It must be emptied after every drying cycle. If full, the program will stop automatically, and a light and buzzer will sound. Empty the container to continue the program.
Maintenance
Humidity Sensor
Clean the sensor in the tumbler to remove calcium oxide buildup. Use a vacuum cleaner or soft brush.
Clean the Filter Drawer
Lint and fibre are trapped in the filter drawer. Clean it after each drying process. It has a two-level filter: sponge and cloth. Wash the sponge and cloth as needed and ensure they are dry before reassembly.
Clean the Evaporator
Clean accumulated lint from the evaporator fins using a vacuum cleaner or soft brush. Wear protective gloves. Clean at least twice a month.
Warning: Never attempt to clean with bare hands, as evaporator fins can cause injury.

Procedure
Earth Note
This appliance must be earthed. Ensure proper grounding according to local rules and standards. Do not alter specifications or attempt to modify the product.
Unpacking
- Remove all packaging before use.
- Check accessories.
- The appliance should be transported vertically.
Transport Safety Packaging Foam
- Open the loading door.
- Pull off adhesive strips from inside the drum.
- Remove packaging foam.
Check across the corner
Ensure the machine does not shake. If it shakes, adjust the feet.

Water discharge
Condensed water can be drained directly via the drainpipe. Change the drainpipe as needed.
Removing transport safety packaging foam
Caution! Before use, remove all packaging foam from the drum. Pull off adhesive strips and remove foam.
Electrical Connection
IMPORTANT: The hot air emitted can reach 60°C. Install on floors resistant to high temperatures.
Electrical work must be done by a qualified electrician or competent person.
Warning: THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED.
Ensure the electricity supply voltage matches the appliance's rating plate.
Mains Lead Wire Colors:
- Green and Yellow: Earth
- Blue: Neutral
- Brown: Live
Connect the green and yellow wire to the terminal marked with the earth symbol.
Warning: A cut-off plug is a shock hazard. Dispose of safely. For permanent connection, install a double pole switch that does not break the earth cable.
Packaging Materials
Materials marked with symbols are recyclable (PE, PS, PP). Dispose of properly.
Old Machine
Use authorized disposal sites for old appliances.
Product Recycling
Do not treat this product as household waste. Take it to an appropriate collection point for recycling electrical and electronic equipment.

Standard Guarantee Conditions
Parmco will repair or replace the appliance free of charge within 12 months of purchase if it is correctly installed, used for domestic purposes, and maintained according to instructions. This guarantee is in addition to statutory rights.
This guarantee does not cover:
- Damage from transportation, improper use, or neglect.
- Replacement of light bulbs or removable glass/plastic parts.
- Appliances used in commercial environments or subject to rental agreements.
- Products not marketed by Parmco.
