Using the Dryer

First Use

  • Ensure electrical connections comply with installation instructions.
  • Remove all packing materials from the drum.
  • Run a short cycle with damp cloths to clean the interior.

Daily Use

  • Open the door and place laundry, shaking items to distribute them.
  • Close the door, ensuring no laundry is caught.
  • Select the required program using the program selector dial. The corresponding light will illuminate.

Automatic Controlled Drying

The dryer uses a moisture sensor to automatically adjust drying time for optimal results. This feature is available for most programs except "Time", "Refresh", and "Warm Air".

Programme Option Buttons

Combine different functions by selecting them after the program and before pressing "Start/Pause".

End of the Programme

All programs end with a 2-minute cooling phase. An optional 10-minute anti-creasing phase follows if laundry is not removed. The dryer stops automatically after this phase. Turn the selector dial to "off" to deactivate all lights.

"Child Lock" Functions

Modifying the Program

To change a running program, turn the dial to "off", select the new program, and press "Start".

Before Loading the Laundry

  • Do not tumble dry: net curtains, woolens, silk, fabrics with metal trim, nylon tights, bulky materials (anoraks, blankets, sleeping bags), or items with foam rubber.
  • Always follow garment label instructions.
  • Close pillowcases and covers, fasten zips, hooks, and press studs.
  • Sort laundry by type and required drying degree.
  • Do not over-dry laundry to avoid creasing and save energy.
  • Avoid drying dark clothes with light-colored items to prevent fluff transfer.
  • Spin laundry thoroughly before tumble drying.
  • Easy-care items like shirts may require brief pre-spinning.
  • Knitted textiles may shrink; consider this when choosing sizes.
  • For a starched effect, use the "Iron dry" program. Wipe the drum with a damp cloth afterward.
  • Use fabric softener or conditioner to avoid static charge.
  • Remove laundry promptly. If items are still damp, use a brief post-drying time.
  • Ensure no metal objects (hair clips, safety pins) are left in laundry.
  • Button pillowcases, close zippers, and tie belts.
  • Turn items with double-layered fabrics inside out for better drying.
