Detailed Connections and Settings
Detail connection of the B, C and D: Ensure white connectors are not reversed to avoid issues.
Detail connection of control box: Incorrect connection of black and white connectors can prevent the system from powering on.
Detail connection of CAR-LVDS:
- Connect the LVDS cable (from the original AUDI screen) to the control box's CAR-LVDS port. Failure to do so will prevent the display of original Audi car computer information and factory backup camera.
- The LVDS plug is located behind the original display screen, not the head unit.
- For Concert/Symphony basic radio (without navigation): The LVDS is a black connector.
- For MMI 3G radio (with navigation): The LVDS is a round connector.
Operation and Sound
2-1. Switching to Original Audi Screen: Click the "Original" icon on the home screen. If the original Audi screen does not display correctly (common with MMI 3G systems due to resolution mismatch), adjust the resolution settings.
Settings Adjustment: Navigate to Settings > System settings > AudiConfig. Select "AudiA4/Q5 low", "AudiA4/Q5 middle", or "AudiA4/Q5 high" that matches the resolution. Do not change the "Old aodi" setting.
2-2. Media Input: Press the "MEDIA" button on the radio panel.
2-3. Audio Source: Select "External Audio input (AUX)".
2-4. AMI to AUX Conversion: If "AMI" is displayed instead of "AUX", connect the Audi AMI-AUX cord (sold separately) to the AMI port in the glove box. This will change the "AMI" option to "AUX".
2-5. Playback: Tap the screen to access the new upgrade system and play music or video.
Camera Settings
Part 3-Camera setting: After powering on the unit, go to Setting/Rear view.
- Factory Backup Camera: Select "Original Camera".

- 4-2. Yellow RCA jack: Connect to the "Back-VIDEO IN" jack (yellow) of the navigation unit. This is the video input jack. Incorrect connection will result in no signal when reversing.
- 4-3. Black wire: Connects to the NEGATIVE WIRE of the reverse lights (not the license plate light).
- 4-4. Red wire: Connects to the POSITIVE WIRE of the reverse lights (not the license plate light).
