Before using the product for the first time, please read the safety conditions and instructions carefully.
I. SAFETY REGULATIONS
Be sure to read all the terms and operating instructions in this manual carefully before using this product. Failure to follow these safety rules and operating instructions may result in hazardous laser radiation damage, electric shock, or personal injury.
- Do not attempt to change the laser's performance in any way, as this will cause the danger of laser exposure.
- Turn on the laser only when using the instrument. Do not look directly at the laser.
- Please keep your instrument in a safe place to avoid use by unrelated persons.
- Do not intentionally use the laser light to illuminate others in the dark.
- Do not irradiate the laser beam on a highly reflective surface.
- Do not put the tape measure where children can get it.
- Do not repair this instrument without permission. If the instrument is damaged, please contact your local seller.
- Electromagnetic radiation may cause interference with machines and devices on the ground (e.g., medical devices such as pacemakers or hearing aids).
- Do not use this instrument in a flammable or explosive environment.
- Do not use this instrument near medical equipment.
- Do not use this instrument on an airplane.
- Dispose of the disused instrument in accordance with the law of your location.
II. OVERVIEW
KEYBOARD
A line drawing shows a compact laser measuring tape device with a tape measure extending from the top. The device has a rectangular body with rounded edges, a display screen on the front, and a button on top.
The keyboard features a primary key for power, single measurement, reference adjustment, and settings. The diagram shows numbered buttons: 1. Turn on / single measurement reference adjustment, Turn off / setting.
DISPLAY SCREEN
The display screen indicates: 1. Laser on indicator, 2. Measurement datum indicator, 3. Battery level indicator, 4. Main display area.
IV. OPERATING
- Start: Press and hold the primary key for about 2 seconds to turn on. The backlight turns off automatically after 15 seconds without key operation.
- Turn on laser/measurement: Short press the primary key in the power-on state to turn on the laser or initiate distance measurement.
- Baseline switch: Press and hold the primary key for about 3 seconds in the power-on state to switch the baseline. The default baseline is restored after rebooting.
- Shutdown: Press and hold the primary key for approximately 5 seconds to turn off the power. The device turns off automatically after 45 seconds without key operation.
- Settings: Press and hold the primary key for approximately 5 seconds in the off state to enter the setting state. The measured value can be corrected within a ±7mm range. Metric or imperial units can be set as default values. Press and hold the primary key for about 1 second to set the switch. Short press the primary key to adjust the setting.

*Up to 30 meters under good measuring conditions (good measuring surface, room temperature), under bad measuring conditions (such as too strong ambient light, excessive or small measured coefficient of the measured point, excessive temperature difference, etc.) The deviation is ±0.25mm/m.
**Please use a reflector in case of strong sunlight or poor reflection of the target!
VII. MAINTENANCE
Do not immerse the instrument in water. Please use a soft cloth to wipe the surface dust. Do not use aggressive cleaning solutions. Wipe the surface of the optical component (including the laser exit window and the signal receiving lens) by wiping the glasses and the camera lens.
