1. Parts and Components

The hair dryer components are illustrated in the diagram. Key parts include:

2. Safety Instructions

1. Ensure the mains voltage matches the appliance's rating label and the wall outlet is grounded.
2. This device is intended for household use only. Do not use for industrial or commercial purposes.
3. Do not immerse the cord, plug, or any non-removable part of the appliance in water or any other liquid, nor expose electrical connections to water. Ensure hands are dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.
4. Check the power cord regularly for visible damage. If damaged, it must be replaced by the official Cecotec Technical Support Service to avoid danger.
5. Ensure air inlets and outlets are not blocked. Blocked inlets/outlets may activate the overheat protection system.
6. Turn off and unplug the device from the power supply immediately after use. If used in a bathroom, always unplug it to prevent it from getting wet.
7. Do not use the appliance near water and never expose it to water or other liquids. [water hazard symbol]
8. Do not use the diffuser with maximum temperature for long periods.
9. Do not introduce metallic objects through the back grid or air inlets to avoid electric shocks.
10. Do not wind the cord around the device.
11. Do not allow the appliance to come into contact with your face, neck, or scalp.
12. Do not leave the appliance on any surface while it is operating.
13. Do not use the appliance to dry wigs or fake hair.
14. The appliance is not intended for use by children under 8 years old. Children over 8 can use it with continuous supervision.
15. Children aged 8 and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, may use the appliance if given supervision or instruction on safe use and understanding the hazards involved.
16. Supervise young children to ensure they do not play with the appliance. Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is used by or near children.

Warning: If the product overheats, it will automatically turn off. Unplug it, allow it to cool for a few minutes. Before turning it back on, ensure there are no obstructions (fluffs, hair, etc.) blocking the grid or air inlet.

3. Before Use

• Remove the product from the box.
• Remove all packaging materials. Keep the original box.
• Verify all components are included and in good condition. Contact Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately if not.
• Maintain a distance of at least 10 cm between hair and the air inlet to prevent hair from entangling.

4. Operation

This hair dryer releases ions, which protect hair, skin, and seal cuticles for total hair care during use.

The product is equipped with 360° spinning magnetic nozzles. Install these when the device is off and has fully cooled down.

The product also features an ExtremeProtect function for automatic temperature oscillation.

1. Place the [power button] (6) in the off position, plug the power cord into a socket, then press the [power button] (6) to switch the device on.
2. The device has 3 different speed modes and 3 different temperature modes.
3. Press the [speed control button] (8) once for low speed, again for medium speed, and a third time for high speed. The fan LED will indicate the selected speed.
4. Press the [temperature control button] (5) once for low temperature. Press again for medium temperature, and a third time for high temperature. The temperature indicator LED will show the selected setting.
5. Press the [cold air/extreme protect button] (9) once to activate the cold air function. Press it twice for the oscillating warm-cold air function. Press it again to switch off the ExtremeProtect function. The LED indicator will light up or switch off accordingly.
6. Maintain a distance of at least 10 cm between hair and the air outlet to avoid tangling or burning.
7. After use, switch the hairdryer to the off position and unplug the power cord.

5. Cleaning and Maintenance

• Disconnect the appliance from the power supply and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
• Use a soft, cotton cloth to clean the product's inlets and outlets.
• Do not use sharp tools near the inlets and outlets to avoid damage.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
• Do not use abrasive scouring pads, powders, or cleaners.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or expose it to water while cleaning.

8. Disposal of Old Electrical Appliances

European directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) states that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of with normal municipal waste. They must be collected separately to optimize material recovery and recycling, reducing the impact on human health and the environment.

The crossed-out "wheeled bin" symbol on the product signifies your obligation to dispose of the appliance correctly. If the product contains batteries, they must be removed and disposed of separately.

Consumers should contact their local authorities or retailer for information on the correct disposal of old appliances and/or batteries.

9. Technical Support Service and Warranty

This product is under warranty for 2 years from the date of purchase, provided proof of purchase is submitted, the product is in perfect physical condition, and it has been used properly as explained in this manual.

The warranty does not cover:

• Product misuse, damage from impact, exposure to moisture, immersion in liquids or corrosive substances, or any fault attributable to the customer.
• Disassembly, modification, or repair by unauthorized persons.
• Faults arising from normal wear and tear of parts due to use.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects for 2 years, based on current legislation, excluding consumable parts. Misuse voids the warranty.
