Safety Instructions

• Read and keep this manual for future reference.
• Ensure your mains voltage matches the appliance's rating and the wall outlet is grounded.

• Do not use on pets or animals.

• Do not use extension cables with this appliance.
• Do not use outdoors or near aerosols.
• Do not cover the cable or appliance during operation. Ensure the main cable does not contact hot parts or get pinched between the barrel and tong.
• Never wind the main cable around the appliance.
• Do not use the product while using foam, spray, or hair gel.
• Do not place the appliance directly on heat-sensitive surfaces while it is on or plugged in.
• Do not pull the plug or remove it from the socket with wet hands.
• If the appliance falls in water, disconnect it immediately. Do not touch water!
• Unplug the device after use and before cleaning.
• Do not carry the appliance by the power cord.
• This appliance may not be used by children or people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless supervised by a responsible person. Children shall not play with the appliance.

Before Use

• Note: Do not switch on the appliance when clamped together. Ensure it is open.
• Remove the product from the box and all packaging material. Keep the original box.
• Verify that all components are included. If any components are missing or damaged, contact Cecotec Technical Support immediately.
• Note: Always perform a test curl before using the tongs to ensure proper settings for your hair type.

Operation

Using the Hair Straightener:

• Plug the device into a power supply.
• Select the desired temperature using the touch screen.
• Press the on/off switch. The device heats up quickly.
• The LED indicator will flash until the programmed temperature is reached.
• Ensure hair is completely dry and comb it before styling.
• Press the tong button, place the heating barrel midway up a section of hair. Lay prepared strands one at a time between the barrel and tong.
• Close the appliance and slowly draw it through to the tips of your hair. Repeat until hair is straight or curled as desired.
• To avoid crimped ends, ensure hair is securely wound under the tong in the direction of the desired curl.
• For curls rolled under, place the tong on top of the section. For flip styles, place the tong under the section.
• Wind hair as desired, holding for 5-8 seconds depending on texture and length. Use less hair for tighter curls, more hair for looser curls.
• To remove the tong, press the tong button and pull away. To set curls, do not comb or brush until hair cools.
• When finished, press the on/off button to turn off the device.

Cleaning and Maintenance

• Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
• Do not submerge the device in water or any other liquid.
• Place the device on a heat-resistant surface to cool before storing.
• Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
• Do not wind the cable around the device.
• Store the device in a dry place, out of reach of children. Do not store while hot or plugged in.
