Essential Maintenance Procedures
Proper maintenance ensures optimal performance of your Airest air purifier. Always disconnect the power before performing any maintenance tasks.
- Prefilter: Clean every 6 months or after 720 hours of operation. A flashing Clean Indicator signals the need for maintenance.
- MERV 14 Main Filter: Replace when indicated by the Clean Indicator blinking yellow, or if odors persist. Filter life is approximately 1.5 to 2 years.
Filter Maintenance Steps
Prefilter Cleaning:
- Stop operation and disconnect power.
- Remove the filter bracket.
- Vacuum dust from the prefilter. For a thorough clean, detach the prefilter, wash with diluted dish soap, rinse, and air dry. Note: Only prefilters are washable; do not wash main filters.
MERV 14 Main Filter Replacement:
- Follow steps for removing the filter bracket.
- Carefully pull the tag to remove the main filter.
- Insert the new main filter with the tag facing up.
- Reassemble the prefilter and filter bracket.
- Reconnect power and reset the timer alert.
Other Maintenance
- Exterior and Remote Control: Wipe gently with a soft cloth when dirty.
- Arch Louver: Open and close as per instructions to clean the sensing area.
- Sensing Area: If dust persists, remove the sensor box, wash the sensor filter, and dry completely.

Part Name: AZ-F120CU (2 pcs for 1 set). Contact your installer to purchase replacement filters. Dispose of used filters according to local regulations.
