2.2 Items Supplied
Check that all items are supplied as per the scope of delivery. If parts are missing, contact the service center or sales outlet within 5 working days of purchase with proof of purchase. Refer to the warranty table for service information.
- Open packaging carefully.
- Remove packaging material and transport braces.

- Keep packaging until the guarantee period ends, if possible.

3. Proper Use
The bandsaw is designed for longitudinal and cross cuts on timber and wood-type materials. Use suitable holding devices for round materials.
Any other use is considered misuse. The user/operator is liable for any damage or injury resulting from misuse.
Operate the machine only with suitable saw blades. Observe safety regulations, assembly, and operating instructions.
⚠️ Danger! Users and service personnel must be familiar with this manual and its hazards. Observe accident prevention and occupational health regulations.
Einhell is not liable for modifications to the machine or resulting damage.
Residual risks exist even with prescribed use:
- Hearing damage if ear-muffs are not used (?).
- Harmful wood dust emissions in closed rooms (?).
- Contact with the blade in the uncovered cutting zone.
- Injuries (cuts) when changing the blade.
- Injury from catapulted workpieces.
- Crushed fingers.
- Kickback.
- Workpiece tilting due to inadequate support.
- Touching the blade.
- Catapulting of timber pieces.
This equipment is not designed for commercial, trade, or industrial applications. Warranty is voided if used in such applications.

Keep noise emissions and vibrations to a minimum:
- Use only appliances in perfect working order.
- Service and clean regularly.
- Adapt working style to the appliance.
- Do not overload.
- Have serviced when necessary.
- Switch off when not in use.
Residual Risks
❗ Caution! Even with correct use, residual risks exist:
- Lung damage if no suitable protective dust mask is used (?).
- Hearing damage if no suitable ear protection is used (?).
5. Before Starting the Equipment
Ensure the machine stands securely, bolted to a workbench or solid base (two holes in the machine foot). The saw table must be mounted correctly. All covers and safety devices must be fitted before switching on. The blade must run freely.
- When working with previously processed wood, check for foreign bodies like nails or screws.
- Before switching on, ensure the saw blade is fitted correctly and moving parts run smoothly.
- Before connecting to power, check the rating plate data matches your mains supply.
6. Assembly
❗ CAUTION! Pull out the power plug before carrying out any maintenance, resetting, or assembly work.
6.1.1 Fitting the Rubber Feet / Tilt Guard (Fig. 5a/5b)
Secure the four rubber feet (49) to the bottom using screws (51), washers (43), and nuts (44).
Push the tilt guard (27) into the foot (5) and secure with socket head screw (52), washer (53), and nut (54).
6.1.2 Mounting the Saw Table (Fig. 3-4)
Remove the web panel (4).
Place the saw table (15) onto the machine housing from the rear. Secure it using washers (55), locking grip (18), and locking lever (56).
Dismantle in reverse order.
6.2. Tensioning the Blade (Figure 1)
❗ CAUTION! Remove blade tension if the bandsaw will not be used for some time. Re-tension before starting.
Turn the tightening screw (9) clockwise to tension the blade (26).
Check tension by applying slight pressure to the blade side between pulleys (7+8). The blade (26) should bend only slightly (approx. 1-2 mm).
A properly tensioned blade produces a metallic sound when tapped.
Release tension when not in use to prevent overstretching.
❗ Caution! The blade may break if tension is too high. Injury risk! If tension is too low, the powered pulley (7) will spin without the blade moving.
6.3 Adjusting the Blade (Fig. 1-2)
❗ CAUTION! Blade tension must be set correctly before adjusting the blade.
Undo fasteners (13) and open side cover (12).
Turn upper blade pulley (8) slowly clockwise. The blade (26) should run with its teeth on the front edge of the pulley tire (8). If not, correct the tilt angle of the upper blade pulley (8).
- If the blade (26) runs towards the back of the pulley (8) (towards the machine frame (25)), turn setting screw (22) anti-clockwise while turning pulley (8) by hand until the blade (26) runs in the middle.
- If the blade (26) runs towards the front edge of the pulley (8), turn setting screw (22) clockwise.
After setting the upper blade pulley (8), check the blade (26) position on the lower blade pulley (7). It should run in the middle. If not, readjust the tilt of the upper blade pulley (8).
Turn the upper blade pulley several times to ensure adjustments affect the lower pulley.
After adjustments, close and re-secure side covers (12) with fasteners (13).
6.4. Setting the Blade Guide (Fig. 7-10)
When changing the blade, re-set both support bearings (30+31) and guide pins (28+29).
Undo fasteners (13) and open side cover (12).
6.4.1. Upper Support Bearing (30)
- Undo socket head screw (33).
- Move support bearing (30) so it is no longer touching the blade (26). Maximum gap: 0.5 mm.
- Re-tighten socket head screw (33).
6.4.2. Adjusting the Lower Support Bearing (31)
- Remove saw table (15) or tilt to 45°.
- Swing blade guard (34) away.
- Adjust similarly to the upper support bearing. The blade (26) is supported by bearings (30+31) during cutting. The blade should not touch the ball bearing when idle.
6.4.3. Adjusting the Upper Guide Pins (28)
- Slacken socket head screw (35).
- Move mount (36) for guide pins (28) so there is approx. 1 mm gap between the front edge of the pins (28) and the blade gullet.
- Re-tighten socket head screw (35).
- ❗ CAUTION! Blade will be rendered useless if teeth touch guide pins while running.
- Slacken socket head screw (37).
- Move guide pins (28) towards the blade for approx. 0.5 mm gap between pins (28) and blade (26). The blade must not jam.
- Re-tighten socket head screws (37).
- Turn upper blade pulley (8) several times clockwise.
- Check and re-adjust guide pins (28) if necessary.
6.4.4. Adjusting the Lower Guide Pins (29)
- Dismantle saw table (15).
- Undo screw (48).
- Move mount (32) for guide pins (29) so there is approx. 1 mm gap between the front edge of the pins (29) and the blade gullet.
- Re-tighten screw (40).
- ❗ CAUTION! Blade will be rendered useless if teeth touch guide pins while running.
- Slacken socket head screw (38).
- Move guide pins (29) towards the blade for approx. 0.5 mm gap between pins (29) and blade (26). The blade must not jam.
- Re-tighten socket head screws (38).
- Turn lower blade pulley (7) several times clockwise.
- Check and re-adjust guide pins (29) if necessary.
6.5. Adjusting the Upper Blade Guide (11) (Figure 11)
- Undo fixing handle (20).
- Turn setting wheel (19) to lower blade guide (11) as close as possible to the workpiece. Gap approx. 2-3 mm.
- Re-tighten fixing handle (20).
- Check setting before each cut and re-adjust if necessary.
6.6. Adjusting the Saw Table (15) to 90° (12/13)
- Slacken locking grip (18) and locking lever (56), open cover at blade guide (11).
- Place angle (d) between blade (26) and table (15). (Angle (d) not included).
- Tilt saw table (15) forwards to achieve a precise 90° angle between it and the blade (26).
- Tighten locking grip (18) and locking lever (56), close cover at blade guide (11).
- Slacken nut (42).
- Adjust screw (41) until it contacts the machine housing.
- Re-tighten nut (42) to secure screw (41).
6.7. Blade Selection
The supplied blade is for all-purpose use. Select blades based on:
- Narrow blades for tighter radii.
- Wide blades for straight cuts, especially in wood, to prevent deviation along the grain.
- Finely toothed blades for smoother cuts, but slower.
❗ Caution! Never use warped or lacerated blades!
6.8. Changing the Saw Blade (Fig. 1/14a/14b)
- Remove cover (57).
- Move blade guide (11) to a position halfway between the table (15) and machine housing (25).
- Undo fasteners (13) and open side cover (12).
- Remove web panel (4).
- Turn tightening screw (9) counter-clockwise to release blade tension (26).
- Remove blade (26) from pulleys (7,8) and through the table slot (15).
- Fit new blade (26), aligned on pulleys (7,8). Teeth must point downwards towards the table.
- Tension blade (26) (see 6.2).
- Close side cover (12).
- Mount web panel (4).
- Refit cover.
6.9. Changing the Rubber Tires on the Blade Pulleys (Figure 15)
Worn rubber tires (3) on pulleys (7/8) must be replaced.
- Open side cover (12).
- Remove blade (26) (see 6.8).
- Lift tire edge (3) with a small screwdriver (f) and pull off upper blade pulley (8).
- Repeat for lower blade pulley (7).
- Fit new tire (3), replace blade (26), and close side cover (12).
6.10. Changing the Table Insert (Figure 16)
Replace worn or damaged table insert (17) to prevent injury.
- Undo table insert screw (17) with a Phillips screwdriver (h) (not included).
- Lift out worn table insert (17).
- Fit replacement insert by reversing the process.
6.11. Extractor Sockets (Fig. 2)
Bandsaw has extractor sockets (6) for sawdust and chips.
Connect to a chip extraction system (not included) using the extraction system hose connected to socket (6).
6.12. Push Stick Holder (Fig. 6)
When not in use, the push stick must be kept on the holder.
7. Control Elements
7.1. On/Off Switch (Figure 17)
- Turn ON: Press green button "1".
- Turn OFF: Press red button "0".
- The bandsaw has an undervoltage release switch. Reactivate after a power failure.
7.2. Parallel Stop (Figure 18)
- Push clip (21) on parallel stop (24) upwards.
- Move parallel stop (24) along table (15) to the desired position (left or right of blade (26)).
- Push clip (21) down to fix. If it doesn't hold securely, turn clockwise several times until fixed.
- Ensure parallel stop (24) is always parallel to blade (26).
7.3. Angular Cuts (Fig. 19)
The table (15) can be tilted forwards (0° - 45°) for angular cuts.
- Undo fixing handles (18).
- Tilt saw table (15) forwards to the required angle on the dial scale (16).
- Re-tighten fixing handles (18).
- Important: When the table (15) is tilted, position the parallel stop (24) to the right of the blade (26), on the side pointing downwards (if workpiece is wide enough), to prevent workpiece slipping off.
8. Operation
❗ Caution! After any adjustment, make a trial cut to check new settings.
- Position blade guide (11) as close as possible to the workpiece for all cutting operations (see 6.5).
- Always guide workpiece with both hands, flat on the table (15), to prevent blade jamming.
- Feed workpiece at a uniform speed for smooth cutting.
- Always use the parallel stop (24) for intended cuts.
- Aim for a complete cut in one pass. If workpiece withdrawal is needed, switch off the bandsaw first and wait for the blade (26) to stop.
- Guide the workpiece by its longer side during cutting.
❗ Important! Use a push stick for narrower workpieces. Keep the push stick (28) close at hand using the hook (29).
8.1. Longitudinal Cuts (Figure 20)
Longitudinal cutting is cutting along the grain of the wood.
- Place parallel stop (24) to the left of the blade (25) as far as possible for the required width.
- Lower blade guide (11) to the workpiece (see 6.5).
- Switch on the saw.
- Press workpiece edge with your right hand, holding it securely against the parallel stop (24) and flat on the table (15).
- Guide workpiece along parallel stop (24) and through blade (26) at a uniform speed.
- ⚠️ Danger! Long workpieces must be secured against falling off at the end of the cut (e.g., with a roller stand).
8.2. Making Angular Cuts (Fig. 19)
- Set saw table to the desired angle (see 7.3).
- Perform the cut as described in 8.1.
8.3. Freehanded Cuts (Figure 21)
This bandsaw allows for curved cuts and radii.
- Lower blade guide (11) to the workpiece (see 6.5).
- Switch on the saw.
- Hold workpiece securely on table (15) and guide slowly through blade (26).
- Make freehanded cuts at a low feed speed to guide the blade (26) along the required line.
- It is often beneficial to cut off surplus curves and corners up to approx. 6 mm from the cutting line first.
- For tight curves, make a series of close-lying cuts at right angles to the curved line. The material will drop off when sawing the radius.
9. Transport
To transport the bandsaw, hold the supporting foot (5) with one hand and the frame (25) with the other. ❗ Important! Never use guards to lift or transport the equipment.
10. Cleaning, Maintenance, and Ordering of Spare Parts
⚠️ Danger! Always pull out the mains power plug before starting any cleaning work.
10.1 Cleaning
- Keep safety devices, air vents, and motor housing free of dirt and dust. Wipe with a clean cloth or blow with compressed air at low pressure.
- Clean the device immediately after each use.
- Clean regularly with a moist cloth and mild soap. Do not use cleaning agents or solvents, as they can damage plastic parts. Ensure no water seeps into the device, as this increases the risk of electric shock.
10.2 Maintenance
There are no internal parts requiring additional maintenance.
10.3 Ordering Replacement Parts

11. Disposal and Recycling
The equipment is supplied in protective packaging made of reusable/recyclable materials. Equipment and accessories are made of metal and plastic.
♻️ Disposal: Do not dispose of power tools, batteries, or accessories in household waste.
- For EU countries: Dispose of electrical and electronic equipment and batteries separately and in an environmentally correct manner, according to Directives 2012/19/EU and 2006/66/EC. Incorrect disposal can harm the environment and health.
- For United Kingdom: Dispose of products separately and in an environmentally friendly manner according to The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations 2013 and Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations 2009.

12. Storage
Store equipment and accessories out of children's reach in a dark, dry place at above freezing temperatures (ideal: 5-30 °C). Store the electric tool in its original packaging.

Warranty Certificate
Dear Customer,
All products undergo strict quality checks. In the unlikely event of a fault, contact the service department at the address on the guarantee card or by telephone.
Guarantee Terms:
- These terms apply solely to consumers (natural persons not using the product for commercial/self-employed activities). They regulate additional guarantee services beyond statutory rights, which are not affected. The guarantee is free of charge.
- Guarantee services cover defects due to material or manufacturing faults on new products bought in the EU. They are limited to rectification or replacement at Einhell's discretion. Only "Professional" brand equipment is designed for commercial use; for other products, warranty is invalidated by commercial use.
- Our guarantee does not cover:
- Damage from failure to comply with installation/assembly/operating instructions (e.g., wrong mains voltage), maintenance/safety regulations, abnormal environmental conditions, or poor care.
- Damage from misuse, incorrect applications (overloading, non-approved attachments), foreign bodies (sand, stones, dust), transit damage, or external influences (dropping).
- Damage due to normal wear and tear (e.g., batteries with cycle limits, wear influenced by load, charging, heat, cold, vibration, impact).
- The guarantee is valid for 2 years from the purchase date. Claims must be submitted within two weeks of noticing the defect, and before the guarantee period ends. Work performed or parts replaced do not extend the guarantee period.
- To assert a claim, register the defective equipment at www.Einhell-Service.com. Proof of purchase is required. Equipment without proof of purchase or rating plate is excluded. If the defect is covered, the item will be repaired or replaced.
- If equipment is taken to another EU country, a local service partner will provide guarantee services. The guarantee does not apply outside the EU.
