01. Charging and Activation
a. Charging: Connect the EF14 charging cable to a 5V-1A adapter and plug it in. The built-in magnets will automatically align with the charging pins on the back of the watch.
b. Activation: If the watch is new or has been unused for a long time, charge it for at least 15 minutes to accumulate enough power for activation.
c. Maintenance: It is recommended to charge the device once a month. Keep the device fully charged and turn it off when not in use for optimal longevity and performance.
02. App Download and Watch Button Functions
Download the "FitCloudPro" app from the App Store or Google Play. You can also scan the QR code provided in the original document to download.
Watch Button Functions:
- Main Button: Short press for menu, long press for 3 seconds to power on/off.
- Lower Button: Customizable function (e.g., exercise, flashlight).
03. Watch Pairing
a. Permissions: On first use of the FitCloudPro app, grant necessary permissions for Bluetooth, wireless data, and notifications through your smartphone's settings.
b. Account: Use the app with "Visit as guest" or "Sign In".
04. Bluetooth Connection - iOS
a. Search and Connect: Select 'Search Now' in the app to discover the EF14 device. Tap the watch to 'accept' the pairing request and grant access.
b. Confirmations: Allow Bluetooth pairing and notifications from your iPhone.
05. FitCloudPro App Configuration on Android
a. Agreement: Accept the FitCloudPro Privacy Policy and User Agreement. You can then Sign In or use the app without an account.
b. Personal Information: Fill in your personal details (Birthday, Sex, Height, Weight) and allow the app to search for and connect to nearby Bluetooth devices.
c. Device Connection: Allow FitCloudPro to discover and connect to EF14 devices. Tap 'Accept' on the watch to grant access and complete pairing. Ensure the watch is fully charged and kept within 0.5 meters of the phone during connection.
d. Permissions: Allow Bluetooth pairing requests and access to contacts/call history.
06. Push Notification Activation
a. Do Not Disturb: The watch cannot receive notifications when the phone is in Do Not Disturb mode.
b. Requirements: Ensure phone Bluetooth is active, the FitCloudPro app is running, and the watch is connected via Bluetooth.
c. Visibility: Ensure notifications are visible in your phone's notification bar. Configure notification settings like Banner Style, Sounds, and Badges within the app.
Available Notifications: Alarms, Sedentary Reminder, Drink Water Reminder, Call, SMS, Email, Wechat, QQ, Facebook, X, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Sports Push, Weather Reports. Also includes 'Raise to Wake' functionality.
07. Weather Locator Activation
Activate the weather report function in the FitCloudPro app to receive weather forecasts. This requires granting location permissions to the app.
08. Watch Display Unit Configuration
Configure display units within the app settings:
- Distance: Metric System (Meters, Kilometers) or Imperial (Feet, Miles).
- Weight: Metric System (KG) or Imperial (Pounds).
- Temperature: Centigrade Degree (°C) or Fahrenheit Degree (°F).
Other settings include Daily Steps Goal, FAQ, Wechat Sports, Apple Health, Settings, and Feedback.
09. Watch Face Configuration/Download
a. Changing Faces: Press and hold the watch face for 2 seconds, then swipe to switch between available watch faces.
b. Downloading Faces: Download new watch faces from the FitCloudPro watch face UI market. Note that only one custom watch face can be saved at a time; a new download will overwrite the previous one.
c. Touchscreen Functionality: Access Control Center, Menu, Bluetooth Calls, and Messages via the touchscreen.
10. Watch Reset
If exercise, sleep, or heart rate data is inaccurate, or if Bluetooth or call functions fail, reset the watch and re-link it. Alternatively, reset or update firmware via the FitCloudPro app.
11. Always-On Display (AOD) Configuration
a. Access: Navigate to 'Settings' > 'Display'.
b. Enable AOD: Tap 'AOD Clock' to enable either the 'Digital Clock' or 'Analog Clock' display.
Note: To conserve battery, the 'Raise to Wake' function may be disabled when AOD is enabled.
12. Call and Media Audio Activation/Deactivation
a. Bluetooth Calls: Tap to enable or disable Bluetooth calls.
b. Audio Control: To prevent the watch from playing multimedia sounds or making/receiving calls, disable the media audio and call audio settings.
Connection Status: View connection status for Bluetooth calls and app connection.
Note: The watch supports message reminders on iOS even if the app is closed. For Android, the app must be running for message reminders.
13. Adding and Syncing Favorite Contacts
Add contacts to the watch via the FitCloudPro app. Available settings include Elevated Heart Rate Measurement, Automatic Health Monitoring, Find the Smartwatch, Wrist Preference, Time Format, Favorite Contacts, Shake to Take a Photo, Hardware Version, and Restore To Factory Data. Options to Add or Edit contacts are available.
