7. Warm-up Exercise

Before exercising, it is recommended to perform stretching exercises first. A successful exercise plan includes warm-up, aerobic, and relaxation exercises. Aim for at least two or three sessions per week, with rest days in between. After a few months, increase to four to five days per week.

Warm-up is crucial for fitness. Moderate warm-up prepares the body for more intense exercise by warming and stretching muscles, improving blood circulation, and increasing oxygen supply. Regular warm-up can also reduce muscle soreness after aerobic exercise. The following warm-up and relaxation exercises are recommended:

  1. Stretch downward: Bend your knees slightly and bend your body forward slowly. Relax your back and shoulders, and try to touch your toes with both hands. Hold for 10 to 15 seconds, then relax. Repeat three times.Figure 1
  2. Stretch your ankles: Sit on a clean cushion and straighten one leg. Place the other leg inward, close to the straightened leg. Try to touch your toes with your hands. Hold for 10 to 15 seconds, then relax. Repeat for each leg three times.Figure 2
  3. Calf and Foot Tendon Stretch: Lean forward with hands against a wall. The left leg arches forward, the right leg is straight, and the left foot is on the ground. Bend your left leg and hold for 10 to 15 seconds, then relax. Repeat each leg three times.Figure 3
  4. Head Movement: 1. Tilt your head to the right, feeling the neck muscle stretch. 2. Turn your head to the back. 3. Turn your head to the left. 4. Turn your head to the front of your chest. Then relax and repeat three times.Figure 4
  5. Waist Movement: Stretch your arms to the left and right. Slowly lift them overhead. Extend your right arm as far as possible towards the ceiling. Straighten, hold for 1 second, and feel the stretch in your right muscle. Repeat the same action on the left arm.Figure 5

8. Maintenance Guide

⚠️ Warning: Ensure the machine is unplugged before performing any maintenance.

9. Running Belt Adjustment

If the walking machine experiences slippage or non-fluidity of the running belt, adjustment is needed. The running belt has two functions: tightening and center position adjustment. While the belt is pre-adjusted at the factory, stretching during use can cause deviation.

Adjusting Running Belt Method

Step 1: Insert a 5mm hexagonal wrench into the adjusting screw on the left side of the belt. Turn clockwise 1/4 turn to tighten the rear drum.

Step 2: Insert a 5mm hexagonal wrench into the adjusting screw on the right side of the belt. Turn clockwise 1/4 turn to tighten the rear drum.

Step 3: Repeat steps 1 and 2 until the running belt does not slip.

Note: Do not overtighten the belt, as this can damage the belt, increase pressure on the drums, harm drum bearings, and cause abnormal sounds.

To reduce belt tension, rotate the wrench counterclockwise. Ensure the left and right sides are rotated by the same amount.

Close-up illustration of the running belt adjustment mechanism, showing screws on the left and right sides of the rear roller, with labels indicating 'Fasten' and 'Loosen' for adjusting belt tension and alignment.

Running Belt Centering

Belt deviation can occur due to unbalanced foot pressure during running. This is normal, and the belt should return to center when no one is using it. If it doesn't center automatically, follow these steps:

  1. Run the treadmill without load at a speed of 6 km/h.
  2. Observe the distance between the running belt and the left and right sidebars.
  3. If the belt is to the left, use a hexagonal wrench ? and turn the left screw clockwise for 1/4 turn. If it's to the right, use the wrench ? and turn the right screw clockwise for 1/4 turn. Repeat until the belt is centered.
  4. After centering, adjust to high speed and observe for deviations or smoothness issues. Repeat adjustments if necessary.
  5. If the above steps don't work, tighten the running belt again. ⚠️Warning: Do not over tighten the running belt, as this can cause permanent bearing damage!

10. Lubricating Oil for Walking Machine

After a period of use, the running belt requires lubrication with specially configured monthly silicone oil.

Suggested Lubrication Schedule:

Do not over-lubricate; more lubricant is not necessarily better. Set the machine to 0.6 mph and apply approximately 5 ml of oil at the orifice of the oil bottle.

Note: Proper lubrication is key to improving the treadmill's service life.

Checking for Lubrication Needs:

Rub the running belt in the center of the back. If your hand is stained with silicone (moist), no more lubricant is needed. If the running board is dry and your hand remains clean, add lubricant.

Steps to Add Lubricating Oil:

First, lift the treadmill and pull up the running belt by hand. Add 5ml of lubricating oil evenly to the middle of the running belt. Do not drip oil only to the sides. After adding oil, start the treadmill and run at 1 km/h. Stand on the treadmill and walk for a few minutes on the left, right, and center of the belt to ensure even absorption.

Adjusting Running Belt Tightness: Treadmills require belt adjustment before and after installation. If slack occurs after use (e.g., slipping during running), adjust the walking belt adjustment bolts clockwise.

Running Belt Deviation Adjustment: Belts may deviate after installation. Reasons include:
