Product Details
The camera features the following components:
- Status light

1. Connection Preparation
It is important that your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and not to a 5GHz network.
To verify your mobile device is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network:
- Navigate to your phone's Settings menu.
- Click on Wi-Fi.
- In this menu, you will see all detectable networks in your area. Locate the SSID (the name of your network) and ensure that the Wi-Fi SSID does not end with "5G" or "5GHz".
Ensure you have a strong Wi-Fi signal (at least two bars) in the location where the smart camera will be installed. If the signal is weak, consider relocating the camera or using a Wi-Fi extender.
2. Install the APP and Register Account
For the best experience, download the "Mirabella Genio" APP to your smartphone from the App Store or Google Play.
3. Insert the Micro SD Card
The camera will function without an SD card, but it will not be able to record footage.
To insert the card:
- Remove the rubber cap to expose the SD card slot.
- Gently insert the Micro SD card into the SD card slot, paying attention to the orientation. Do not force it.
- Once inserted, refit the rubber cap.
SD Card Requirements:
- Minimum size: >8GB
- Maximum size: Up to 128GB
- Format: FAT32 only
- Note: The camera does not support the NTFS file system.
Camera Installation
- Fix the camera to the wall using the provided screws.
- Adjust the camera angle to achieve the desired view.
Pairing the Camera using Mirabella Genio App
- Connect the power adaptor to the camera and switch it on. Wait for the indicator light to start blinking RED rapidly (1 blink per second).
- If the indicator light does not blink red when powered on, press and hold the reset button until you hear a "bugu" sound. Wait for the indicator light to blink red rapidly. Once it is blinking red rapidly, the camera is ready to be paired. (If the light is slowly blinking, 1 blink every 2 seconds, please reset it.)
- Open the Mirabella Genio APP, tap the "+" icon, then choose "Security & Sensor" and select your camera from the list.
- Double-check that the LED indicator light is still blinking red rapidly. Tap "Confirm blinking Fast" and enter your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi name and password, then tap "Next".
- Tap "Continue". A QR code will appear on your phone screen. Place this QR code in front of the camera at approximately 15-20cm. Wait until you hear a sound, and the indicator light changes from red to blue. Wait for the indicator light to become solid blue, then tap the "beeped/indicator switch" button.
The camera is now successfully added to your APP. Please refer to the FAQ section for troubleshooting if the method does not connect.
Camera Usage Tips
User interface may change with APP updates.
Tap on the [edit icon] or [more options icon] to access the camera's Settings page.
- Speak: Tap to speak to your visitor. Two-way talk must be enabled in basic function settings.
- Record: [record icon] Record live footage into your phone's internal storage.
- Take Photo: [camera icon] Take screenshots of current live footage.
- Playback: [play icon] Access the footage recorded on the Micro SD card.
Use the [volume icon] to turn sound on/off.
Use the [HD icon] to change video quality (high definition or standard definition).
Settings and Management
To switch to full-screen view mode.
Wi-Fi Signal: If the signal strength is less than 60%, consider changing the location or boosting the Wi-Fi signal using a Wi-Fi extender.
- Device Name: You can customize the camera name here.
- Share Device: Share or remove this camera with other genio APP users.
- Device Information: View detailed information for this camera, including owner, Virtual ID, IP address, etc.
- Power Management Settings: Set the battery reminder percentage.
- Basic Function Settings: Please ensure "Talk Mode" is set as "Two-Way Talk".
- PIR: Configure motion detection on/off and sensitivity level. Turning it off will save battery life.
- Memory Card Settings: This option appears only when an 8GB-128GB Micro SD card is inserted.
- Firmware Information: Receive notifications when new firmware is released for this camera.
- Remove Device: Remove the device from your current account to re-pair it or pair it under a different account.
SD Card Recommendation: We recommend using Verbatim, Kingston, or Samsung Class 10 high-speed micro SD cards for best performance.
FAQ
How to connect camera to another router?
Go to the camera's settings page, look for "Remove Device". Remove it, reset the camera, and pair it again through the app.
Poor performance, take long time to load the live footage?
Please check the Wi-Fi signal. If it is less than 60%, consider changing the camera location or purchasing a Wi-Fi extender to boost the signal.
Camera went offline and doesn't reconnect back online by itself?
Go to the camera's settings page, look for "Remove Device". Remove it, reset the camera, and pair it again through the app.
Followed the pairing process but still receive the error "Cannot find Device"?
- Manually disable the 5GHz Wi-Fi signal on your router settings.
- Ensure that the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal is enabled.
- Ensure the indicator light is blinking RED rapidly as per the APP screen (1 blink per second).
- Please check you have entered the correct 2.4GHz Wi-Fi SSID and password.
How to turn on or turn off movement notification?
- On the Genio APP home screen, tap Me -> Settings -> Push Notification -> turn on/off Enable notifications.
- On the iPhone, go to Settings -> Notifications -> turn on/off Allow Notification.
