Milesight UG65 Semi-Industrial LoRaWAN® Gateway
The Milesight UG65 is a robust 8-channel indoor LoRaWAN® gateway. Adopting the SX1302 LoRa chip and a high-performance quad-core CPU, the UG65 supports connection with over 2000 nodes. It offers a line-of-sight range of up to 15 km and can cover approximately 2 km in urbanized environments, making it ideal for smart offices, smart buildings, and other indoor applications.
The UG65 supports multiple backhaul backups, including Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and cellular (4G). It also features integrated mainstream network servers (such as The Things Stack, ChirpStack, etc.) and a built-in network server for easy deployment.
Application Example
The diagram illustrates a typical LoRaWAN application setup. It shows a LoRaWAN Gateway connected to various devices like those used for Metering, Smart Building, Smart Parking, Tracking, Industrial Automation, and Fleet Management. The gateway connects to a Network Server, which then communicates with an Application Server. The connection from the gateway to the network is facilitated by 4G/Ethernet Backhaul Connectivity.

Hardware Overview
The gateway features a clear LED Area displaying status indicators for POWER, STATUS, LoRa, Wi-Fi, LTE, and ETH. It includes a Type-C Port for power and console, an Ethernet Port (PoE supported), a DC Power Connector, a SIM Slot, a Reset Button, and LoRaWAN® Antenna Connectors. Mounting holes are provided for bracket installation.
