Yealink BH71/BH71 Pro Bluetooth Headset Quick Start Guide
This guide provides instructions for setting up and using your Yealink BH71 or BH71 Pro Bluetooth headset.
Important Safety Information
- Do not disassemble the product or expose it to fire or water.
- Avoid using the product in high temperature, humidity, or corrosive environments.
- Do not expose the product to corrosive liquids.
- Do not disassemble or re-equip the product.
- Do not place the product in environments below -10°C or above 60°C.
- Avoid knocking, throwing, or shaking the product.
- Wipe the headset's power switch key dry with a tissue if it comes into contact with sweat or other liquids before placing it in the charging case.
- If the headset is exposed to rain or submerged in water, allow it to dry completely before use.

Note: Use only Yealink accessories for optimal compatibility.
Charge Headset
It takes approximately 90 minutes to fully charge the headset using a USB cable connected to the charging case or directly to the headset.
Note: The BH71 carrying case requires an external USB cable to charge the headset.
Charging Indicator
- Charging: Solid green (Carrying case) / Flashing green (Charging case)
- Charging complete: Off
Check Battery Level
Open the charging case to check the headset battery level. The LED indicator shows the remaining power of the case when the headset is undocked, and the remaining power of the headset when it is docked.
Power on/off
- Power off: Red light
- Power on: Blue light with battery status (e.g., "Power on, 80% battery remains")
Pair and Connect
- Slide and hold the switch for 3 seconds until you hear "Pairing mode" and the LED indicator flashes red and blue.
- Connect to your device via Bluetooth. The headset can connect to up to two devices simultaneously.
Note: The BT51A dongle for the BH71 Pro is pre-paired. The BT51A dongle can only connect to one headset at a time.
Fit the Headset
Right ear wearing
- Remove the headset. Twist the speaker to the left and rotate the microphone boom down.
- Adjust the speaker height for a comfortable fit.
- Place the eartip in your ear, slide the headset over and behind your ear, and press gently.
Note: Remove eyeglasses before wearing for a better fit. Use the provided eartips in S, M, or L for the best fit.
Left ear wearing
- Remove the headset. Twist the speaker to the right and rotate the microphone boom down.
- Refer to steps 2 and 3 for right ear wearing for fitting instructions.
Note: Choose the eartip size that fits you best.
Call Control
- Call Button: Press once to accept/end a call. Press twice to reject a call.
- Mute Button: Press once to mute/unmute the microphone.
- Volume Button: Rotate 360° to adjust volume.
- Teams/Cortana: Press the call button once in idle status to invoke the Teams client. Press and hold for 2 seconds in idle status to activate Cortana (requires Microsoft support).
Software Management
Yealink USB Connect
Download Yealink USB Connect from Yealink's website to personalize, update, and manage your headset. Ensure you are using version 0.35 or later.
Yealink Connect App
Download the Yealink Connect App from the iOS App Store or Google Play.
