The ionizer system in the refrigerator's air duct ionizes the air. The negative ion emissions will eliminate bacteria and other molecules that cause odor in the air.
5.8. Movable Middle Section
The movable middle section is designed to prevent cold air inside the refrigerator from escaping. A seal is created when the door gaskets press against the surface of the movable middle section when the refrigerator doors are closed. Another reason the refrigerator is equipped with a movable middle section is that it increases the refrigerator's net volume. Standard middle sections take up unusable volume in the refrigerator. The movable middle section closes when the left refrigerator door is closed. It must be opened manually. It moves under the guidance of the plastic part on the frame as the door is closed.
5.9. Ice Container (Optional accessory)
The ice container makes it easy to retrieve ice cubes.
Using the Ice Container

5.11. Ice Tray (Optional accessory)
The ice maker cannot be removed. There must be an ice container at the bottom of the ice maker.
5.12. Vegetable Drawer with Controlled Humidity (Optional accessory)
With the humidity control function, the humidity level of vegetables and fruits is kept under control, ensuring that food stays fresh longer. It is recommended to store leafy vegetables such as lettuce and spinach and similar vegetables prone to moisture loss not on their roots, but horizontally in the vegetable drawer as much as possible. When placing vegetables, place heavy and hard vegetables at the bottom and light and soft vegetables on top; take into account the specific weight of each vegetable. Do not store vegetables in the vegetable drawer in plastic bags. Storing them in plastic bags causes vegetables to rot faster. In situations where contact with other vegetables is not preferred, use packaging such as paper that has some porosity for hygiene.
Do not place fruits that produce a lot of ethylene gas, such as pears, apricots, peaches, and especially apples, in the same vegetable drawer as other vegetables and fruits. The ethylene gas released from these fruits can cause other vegetables and fruits to ripen faster and rot in a shorter time.
5.13. Freezing Fresh Food
- To preserve food quality, food items placed in the freezer compartment must be frozen as quickly as possible. Use quick freezing to do this.
- Freezing fresh food will extend the storage life in the freezer compartment.
- Pack food items in airtight packages and seal properly.
- Ensure that food items are wrapped before placing them in the freezer. Use freezer containers, aluminum foil, and moisture-proof paper, plastic bags, or similar packaging materials instead of traditional paper packaging.
- Mark each food package by writing the date on the package before freezing. This will make it possible to determine the freshness of each package each time the freezer is opened. Store older food items in the front to ensure they are used first.
- Frozen foods must be used immediately after thawing and should not be refrozen.
- Do not freeze large quantities of food simultaneously.
5.14. Recommendations for Frozen Food
- The compartment must be set to at least -18 °C.
- Place food items in the freezer as quickly as possible to avoid thawing.
- Before freezing, check the "Expiration Date" on the package to ensure it has not expired.
- Ensure that the food packaging is not damaged.
5.15. Deep Freezer Information
According to IEC 62552 standards, the freezer must be capable of freezing 4.5 kg of food at -18 °C or lower temperatures in 24 hours for every 100 liters of freezer compartment volume. Food can only be stored for longer periods at or below a temperature of -18 °C. You can keep food fresh for months (in a deep freezer at or below temperatures of -18 °C). To prevent food items already in the freezer from partially thawing, new food placed inside must not come into contact with them.
Temperature in Freezer Compartment | Refrigerator Setting | Description |
---|---|---|
-18 °C | 4 °C | This is the standard, recommended setting. |
-20, -22 or -24 °C | 4 °C | These settings are recommended for ambient temperatures above 30 °C. |
Quick Freezing | 4 °C | This setting is used to freeze food items in a short period. The product resets to previous settings when the process is complete. |
-18 °C or colder | 2 °C | Use these settings if you believe the refrigerator compartment is not cold enough due to ambient temperature or frequent door opening. |
5.16. Food Placement
Compartment | Food Items |
---|---|
Freezer Compartment Shelves | Various frozen items, including meat, fish, ice cream, vegetables, etc. |
Refrigerator Compartment Shelves | Food items in pots, covered plates, and covered containers, eggs (in covered containers) |
Refrigerator Door Shelves | Small and packaged food or beverages |
Vegetable Drawer | Fruits and vegetables |
Fresh Food Compartment | Delicacies (breakfast food, meat items to be consumed on short notice) |
Cook vegetables and drain the water to store vegetables longer in the freezer. Place food items in airtight packaging when the water is completely drained, and put them in the freezer. Bananas, tomatoes, celery, boiled eggs, potatoes, and similar food items should not be frozen. Such food items may lose nutritional value and taste when frozen. They will not pose a health hazard even if frozen and can be safely consumed.
5.17. Open Door Alarm (Optional accessory)
An audible signal sounds if the product door is open for more than one minute. The audible signal will stop when the door is closed or any button on the display (if available) is pressed.
5.18. Internal Light
The internal light uses an LED lamp. Contact the authorized service center if there are problems with the lamp. The light used inside this product is not intended for home lighting and is not suitable for such purposes. The light inside the refrigerator and freezer compartments is intended to help you place food items safely and practically in the refrigerator. The lamp(s) used in this unit are not suitable for home lighting. The purpose of this lamp is to help the user place food items in the refrigerator/freezer safely and comfortably.
