This guide provides installation instructions for the Fortin EVO-ALL module for the specified Toyota Crown Hybrid models.

Installation Notes
- Parts Required (Not Included): 3x 1 Amp Diode
- Mandatory Installation: Hood Pin. The hood pin switch must be installed. If the vehicle can be remote started with the hood open, set Function A11 to OFF.
- This module must be installed by a qualified technician. Incorrect connections can cause permanent damage to the vehicle.
- Firmware Updates: To update the firmware version and options, use the FLASH LINK UPDATER or FLASH LINK MOBILE tool (sold separately).
Wiring Connections
Refer to the detailed wiring diagrams provided in the original document for specific connections. Key connection points include:
- Horn switch-clock spring: Located at the horn switch-clock spring, black 14-pin connector.
- Hybrid Vehicle Control ECU: Located to the right of the dash fuse box, black 54-pin connector.
- Certification ECU: Located behind the glove box, white 30-pin top and bottom connectors.
Important Wires to Connect:
- 12V Battery (+): Red wire (B4)
- Ground (-): Black wire (B3)
- Ignition (+): Yellow wire (A1)
- Lock (-): Purple wire (A2)
- Unlock (-): Purple/White wire (A3)
- Door Status: Green wire (A4)
- Trunk Status: White wire (A5)
- Auxiliary 1 (-): Orange wire (A6)
- CAN LOW: Gray/Black wire (C4)
- CAN HIGH: Gray wire (C3)
- Ground While Running (-): Dark Blue wire (A8)
- Start (+): Red/Blue wire (A9)
- Foot Brake (+): Black wire (A11)
- Tachometer (-/+): Pink wire (A12)
- Hand Brake (-): Brown/White wire (A14)
- Hood Status (-): Pink/Black wire (A15)
- Start/Stop (-): White/Black wire (A16)
DCRYPTOR Programming Procedure
Follow these steps to program the module using the DCRYPTOR:
- Press and hold the programming button, then connect the 4-pin Data-link connector. The LEDs will cycle through BLUE, RED, YELLOW, and BLUE/RED flashes.
- Release the programming button when the LED turns BLUE. If the BLUE LED is not solid, disconnect the 6-pin main connector and repeat step 1.
- Insert the remaining connectors.
- Press the Push-to-Start button twice to turn the ignition ON. The BLUE LED will flash rapidly.
- Press the Push-to-Start button once to turn the ignition OFF. The BLUE LED will continue to flash rapidly.
- Press the Unlock button on the vehicle's OEM remote. The BLUE LED will turn ON solid.
- Press the foot-brake pedal.
- Press the Push-to-Start button until the engine starts. Release the foot-brake pedal. The BLUE LED will turn OFF, and the RED LED will turn ON.
- Press the Push-to-Start button once to turn off the engine.
- Press the foot-brake pedal.
- Press the Push-to-Start button until the engine starts. Release the foot-brake pedal. The RED LED will turn OFF, and the YELLOW LED will turn ON. Wait for the RED and YELLOW LEDs to alternate.
- Press the Push-to-Start button once to turn off the engine.
- Disconnect all connectors, including the Data-Link (4-pin) connector.
- Using a Microsoft Windows computer with internet connection or a smartphone (Android/iOS) with internet connection, use the FLASH LINK UPDATER or FLASH LINK MOBILE tool to visit the DCRYPTOR menu.
- After DCRYPTOR programming is complete, reconnect the 4-pin Data-Link connector and then all other EVO-ALL connectors.
Remote Starter Functionality
To Start the Vehicle Remotely:
- Ensure all doors are closed.
- Unlock the doors using the OEM remote, the remote-starter remote, or the proximity remote.
- Enter the vehicle with the SMART-KEY.
- DO NOT PRESS THE BRAKE PEDAL. Press and release the Push-to-Start button once.
- Press the brake pedal. The vehicle can now be put into gear and driven. If the Smart-Key is not detected, the vehicle will shut down.
Verification
Test the remote starter. Remote start the vehicle and verify its operation.
