To update firmware and options, use the FLASH LINK UPDATER or FLASH LINK MOBILE tool (sold separately).
Programming Bypass Option
Unit Option: C1 - OEM Remote status monitoring (Lock/Unlock)
Unit Option: D6 - Push-to-Start
Unit Option: A11 - Hood trigger (Output Status)
Note: The vehicle's OEM remote and SmartKey remain operable during remote start.

Mandatory Installation: Hood Pin
Hood Status: The hood pin switch must be installed. If the vehicle can be remote started with the hood open, set Function A11 to OFF.
Note: Installation of safety elements is mandatory. The hood pin is an essential security element and must be installed.
Wiring Connections Overview
Refer to the wiring diagrams for specific connections. Key connection points include:
- 1: ECU, behind glove box
- 2: Fuse box, A1 fuse box
- 3: ECU, Driver's side fuse box
Detailed diagrams show connections to:
- (+) START/STOP1, (-) CAN LOW, (-) CAN HIGH, (+)12 V, (-) GROUND, (-) START/STOP2, (-) START/STOP3
- (+) IGNITION 1, (+) STARTER, (+) IGNITION 2
- (-) IMO, (-) IMI
Dcryptor Programming Procedure
Follow these steps to program the module:
- Press and hold the programming button. Connect the 4-Pin Data-link connector. LEDs will flash BLUE, RED, YELLOW & BLUE/RED.
- Release the programming button when the LED is BLUE.
- If the BLUE LED is not solid ON, disconnect the 6-Pin Main connector and repeat step 1.
- Insert the remaining connectors.
- Press the Push-to-Start button twice to turn ignition ON. The BLUE LED will flash rapidly.
- Press the Push-to-Start button once to turn ignition OFF. The BLUE LED continues to flash rapidly.
- Press the Unlock button on the vehicle's OEM remote. The BLUE LED will turn ON solid.
- Press the foot-brake pedal.
- Press the Push-to-Start button until the engine starts. Release the foot-brake pedal. The BLUE LED turns OFF, the RED LED turns ON.
- Press the Push-to-Start button once to turn off the engine.
- Press the foot-brake pedal.
- Press the Push-to-Start button until the engine starts. Release the foot-brake pedal. The RED LED turns OFF, the YELLOW LED turns ON. Wait for RED and YELLOW LEDs to alternate.
- Press the Push-to-Start button once to turn off the engine.
- Disconnect all connectors except the 4-Pin Data-link connector.
- Connect the 4-Pin Data-link connector to a computer with the FLASH LINK UPDATER or FLASH LINK MOBILE tool to visit the DCryptor menu.
- After programming, reconnect all connectors.
Remote Starter Functionality
- Ensure all doors are closed.
- Remote start the vehicle using the OEM remote, remote-starter remote, or proximity remote to unlock doors.
- Enter the vehicle with the SMART-KEY.
- DO NOT PRESS THE BRAKE PEDAL. Press and release the Push-to-Start button once.
- Press the brake pedal. The vehicle can now be put into gear and driven.
- If the Smart-Key is not detected, the vehicle will shut down.
Verification Procedure
Test the remote starter. Remote start the vehicle.
