Operating Procedures & Maintenance
Unpacking Your Ice Maker
Remove exterior and interior packaging. Check for ice basket and ice scoop. Contact customer service if parts are missing.
Remove adhesive tapes securing the ice scoop, ice basket, and ice shovel. Clean the tank and ice basket.
Place the ice maker on a level, flat counter top away from direct sunlight and heat sources (stove, furnace, radiator). Ensure at least 4 inches gap between the back and sides with the wall.
Allow one hour for refrigerant fluid to settle before plugging in.
Position the appliance so the plug is accessible. WARNING: Fill with potable water only. Use drinking water.
Connecting Your Ice Maker
DANGER
*Improper use of the grounded plug can result in electric shock. If the power cord is damaged, call customer service.
For safety, the unit must be properly grounded. The power cord has a 3-prong plug that mates with standard grounding wall outlets to minimize electric shock risk.
Plug into an exclusive, properly installed, grounding wall outlet. Do not damage the grounding means of the plug. Direct any questions about power or grounding to a certified electrician.
This appliance requires a standard 110-120Volt, 60Hz electrical outlet with good grounding.
Cleaning and Maintaining Your Ice Maker
Before use, it is strongly recommended to clean the ice maker thoroughly. Unplug the unit before cleaning or maintenance.
Remove the ice basket.
Clean the interior with diluted detergent, warm water, and a soft cloth.
Rinse inside parts with water and drain by unplugging the drain cap on the front bottom side.
Clean the outside regularly with a mild detergent solution and warm water.
Dry the interior and exterior with a clean soft cloth.
If the machine is not used for a long time, drain all water and dry the interior.
Using Your Ice Maker
Open the cover, remove the ice basket, and pour water into the tank. Keep water level below the water level mark.
Press the "ON/OFF" button on the control panel to start the ice making cycle.
Select ice cube size using the “SELECT” button. If room temperature is below 60°F, select small ice cubes to avoid sticking.
The ice making cycle lasts approximately 6 to 13 minutes, depending on ice size and room temperature. Recommended room temperature is 50°F to 105°F.
If the water pump cannot inject water, the ice maker will stop automatically, and the "ADD WATER" indicator will light up. Press "ON/OFF", fill water to the max level mark, and press "ON/OFF" again to restart. Allow refrigerant liquid to settle for at least 3 minutes before restarting.
The ice maker stops when the ice basket is full, and the “ICE FULL” indicator will light up.
Warning: Direct sunlight or reflection may cause infrared sensor malfunction. If the unit does not stop even with ice cubes obstructing the sensor, move the unit to a location without direct sunlight.
Change water in the reservoir every 24 hours for hygiene. If the unit is not in use, drain all water and dry the tank.
