Getting Started

Plug the adapter into a standard household outlet to get the clock working. Insert 3 "AAA" batteries (Not Included) to preserve all settings in case of power interruption.

Front View

The front display features: ALARM Icon (?), SLEEP TIMER Indicator (?), AM/PM Indicator (AM/PM), and FM Radio indicator (?).

Back View

The back of the clock includes controls and ports: MODE SWITCH (TIME SET/LOCK/ALARM SET), DISPLAY DIMMER CONTROL (0-100%), USB CHARGING PORT (?), POWER CONNECTOR (?), BATTERY COMPARTMENT (?), ALARM SOUND SWITCH (Beep/FM Radio/Siren), and ALARM VOLUME CONTROL (30-110dB).

Top View

The top panel features buttons for various functions: HOUR SET/TUNE-DOWN BUTTON (⏪), SLEEP TIMER SET (?), MINUTE SET/TUNE+ UP BUTTON (▶️), SAVE FAVORITE STATIONS AS FM RADIO ALARM SOUND, FM RADIO ON/OFF BUTTON (?), FM VOLUME-DOWN BUTTON (?➖), ALARM ON/OFF (?), SNOOZE/NIGHT LIGHT BUTTON (⏰/?), 12/24HR MODE SWITCH (?/?), FM VOLUME+ UP BUTTON (?➕), and NIGHT LIGHT DIMMER CONTROL (??/??).

Time Setting

1. Slide the MODE SWITCH to the [TIME SET] position to enter time setting. The HOUR and MINUTE digits will flash on the display. Press the [Hour Set/Tune Down] button ⏪ to advance to the correct hour, and press the [Minute Set/Tune Up] button ▶️ to advance to the correct minute (hold for rapid setting).

2. Slide the MODE SWITCH to the [LOCK] position when the correct time is shown on the display. The display will now stop flashing.

Switch Time Format (12/24HR)

Press the [12/24HR MODE SWITCH] button ?/? to toggle between 12 and 24-hour mode (the default is 12-hour time format).

NOTICE: When using the 12-hour time format, the AM/PM icon will appear to suggest morning/afternoon time.

Alarm On/Off

To switch the alarm on or off, press the [ALARM ON/OFF] button ?. The alarm icon ? will appear when the alarm is on.

Alarm Setting

1. Slide the MODE SWITCH to the [ALARM SET] position to enter alarm time setting. The HOUR and MINUTE digits will flash on the display. Press the [Hour Set/Tune Down] button ⏪ to advance to the correct hour, and press the [Minute Set/Tune Up] button ▶️ to advance to the correct minute (hold for rapid setting).

2. Slide the MODE SWITCH to the [LOCK] position when the correct alarm time is shown on the display. The display will now stop flashing.

Alarm Sound

3. Slide the ALARM SOUND SWITCH to choose from Beep, Siren, or FM Radio, which is the last tuned-in radio station or the station you set in "Wake Up Radio Alarm Setting" (Page 12) as wake-up sound.

NOTICE: If you are a heavy sleeper, it is recommended that you prefer Beep or Siren as your wake-up sound.

Alarm Volume Setting

1. When the radio is OFF, press the top volume buttons ?➕ or ?➖ to adjust the radio alarm volume level (01-20 levels adjustable). The volume value will appear when you are adjusting volume.

NOTICE: The top volume buttons ?➕ or ?➖ ONLY control the volume of FM Radio, not the volume of the 2 built-in alarm sounds (Beep and Siren).

2. Slide the ALARM VOLUME knob at the left side of the back of the clock to adjust the volume of Beep or Siren with a range of 30-110dB. The default alarm volume is 110dB (max). Please test to your most appropriate volume before use to prevent shocking you when the alarm goes off.

Snooze/Turn Off Alarm Daily

1. When the alarm goes off, press SNOOZE ⏰ to snooze for a while; the alarm will go off again 9 minutes later.

2. To cancel the snooze at any time or to TURN OFF this day's alarm while it is sounding, press the [ALARM ON/OFF] button ?. The alarm will go off again at the same time the next day.

3. If not stopped, the 2 built-in alarms (Beep/Siren) will last 15 minutes before going silent. However, the Radio alarm is customized; it will ring for 1 hour before going silent if not stopped.

Night Light Setting

1. In normal time display mode, press the [LIGHT] button ? to turn on the night light.

2. Press the [LIGHT] button ? repeatedly to choose among 8 different night light color options: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, purple, loop color, and off.

3. Press the [NIGHT LIGHT DIMMER] button ??/?? repeatedly to adjust the night light brightness (5 levels adjustable) when it is lit.

4. Press and hold the [LIGHT] button ? for 3 seconds to turn it off.

NOTICE: The night light will default to the last color you choose when you reopen it.

FM Radio Setting

Please extend the FM antenna on the back of the clock.

1. Press the [FM RADIO ON/OFF] button ? to turn FM radio ON/OFF.

2. Press and hold the [FM RADIO ON/OFF] button ? for 2 seconds when the radio is on; FM radio will scan and auto-store the scanned stations. Once the station search is completed, the first station will be played automatically. Press the [Hour Set/Tune Down] button ⏪ or [Minute Set/Tune Up] button ▶️ to tune from auto-stored stations.

3. Use the volume buttons ?➕ or ?➖ to adjust the volume of FM radio (01-20 levels adjustable).

Wake Up Radio Alarm Setting

When the radio is on, press the [Hour Set/Tune Down] button ⏪ or [Minute Set/Tune Up] button ▶️ to tune to radio stations you like, then press the [ALARM ON/OFF] button ?. The icon "AL" will appear on the display screen. The clock immediately saves this station as the Wake Up Radio Alarm Sound.

Sleep Timer Setting

The sleep timer lets you fall asleep while listening to FM radio for the set sleep duration, then turns the radio off.

1. When the radio is on, press the [SLEEP TIMER SET] button ? repeatedly to select the sleep timer ranging from OFF, 30, 60, 90, 180 minutes. The sleep timer will be seen on the display.

2. When the sleep timer is set, please wait for 3 seconds to exit the setup. The "SLEEP" indicator ? will be seen on the display.

3. To turn off the sleep timer, press the [SLEEP TIMER SET] button ? repeatedly to select "OFF" and wait for 3 seconds for it to work.

4. When the sleep timer is on, press the [SLEEP TIMER SET] button ? to see the sleep timer remaining.

Brightness Control

There are 0-100% brightness levels for the LED Display. Slide the [DISPLAY DIMMER] knob at the right side of the back of the clock to adjust the display brightness (HIGH: 100%, LOW: 0%).

Battery Operated Mode

Plug 3 "AAA" batteries (Not Included) into the Battery Compartment ?. The screen will show the time for 8 seconds and then go to sleep for saving battery. Press the biggest SNOOZE button ⏰ to check your time within 8 seconds. The screen will stay on when you plug into the outlet.

NOTICE: In Battery Operated Mode, the clock has all functions except for USB charging your electronic devices.

USB Charging Port

Connect a USB charging cable to charge your cellphone or other smart device using the USB CHARGING PORT ?.

Care of Your Clock

Please replace the backup batteries every year or consider storing the clock without a battery when it is not in use. Please use a cloth or a paper towel to clean it. Avoid any corrosive cleaner or chemical solutions when cleaning. Make sure the clock is kept clean and dry always.

Troubleshooting

1. Is there a way to manually tune the radio? I cannot get above 98.3 with the 30 auto-store channels. The stations I listen to are in the hundreds.

Yes, it has two modes: Automatic and Manual. You can save your wanted radio stations via the Manual mode, but please note: it only saves one station at a time in Manual mode. Here is the operation guide for Manual mode:

  • Unplug and remove the battery to reset, then set again after power cycle.
  • Press the [FM RADIO ON/OFF] button ? to enter the FM Mode.
  • Press the [Hour Set/Tune Down] button ⏪ or [Minute Set/Tune Up] button ▶️ to manually tune your desired stations. Please extend the FM wire antenna and vary the directions to get the best FM receptions.

2. Will the alarm go off in battery operated mode?

Yes, the alarm will sound in battery operated mode.

3. Why does the screen blank after 8 seconds? Every time I press the SNOOZE button, it lights up again?

In the Battery Operated Mode, the screen will show the time for 8 seconds and goes to sleep for saving battery. Press the SNOOZE button ⏰ to check your time within 8 seconds. The screen will stay on when you plug into the outlet.

4. How to turn off alarm daily?

When the alarm goes off, pressing the [ALARM ON/OFF] button ? will turn the alarm off until the next scheduled time.

5. How to turn off the alarm completely?

In the normal time display, you can turn the alarm off completely by single pressing the [ALARM ON/OFF] button ?. The alarm icon ? will disappear when the alarm is disabled.

6. Is the radio volume independent from the radio alarm volume?

Yes, it is. There are two buttons on the top to adjust the volume up and down: when the radio is on, it controls the radio volume (indicated by "F" in front of the number); when the radio is off, it controls the radio alarm volume (indicated by "V" in front of the number).
