Unfolding and Folding Gimbal

Unfolding Gimbal

Grip the arm of the SMART XE gimbal and unfold it without unlocking. Mount your cellphone to the clip, then level it up to start using.

Folding Gimbal

Rotate the gimbal arm until its folding position aligns with the operation panel. Fasten the tilt axis buckle. Make the mobile clip buckle inside, then fold the gimbal arm as per the direction of the yellow arrow.

The AOCHUAN Smart XE gimbal features the following components:

• Mobile phone clip: Secures your smartphone.
• Pan axis: Allows horizontal movement.
• Focus roller: Adjusts focus point (requires app connection).
• Zoom toggle switch: Adjusts focal length/distance (requires app connection).
• Photo / Video Switch landscape / portrait: Changes camera orientation.
• Tilt axis: Allows vertical movement.
• Mode / Battery life / Bluetooth status indicator: Displays gimbal mode, battery level, and Bluetooth connectivity.
• Charging port: For charging the gimbal.
• Gimbal joystick: Controls gimbal movement.
• Power button / Check battery life: Powers the gimbal on/off and checks battery status.
• Roll axis: Allows rotation around the camera's axis.
• Fasten buckle for folding gimbal: Secures the gimbal when folded.
• Lanyard hole: For attaching a lanyard.
• 1/4 extension port: For mounting accessories.

Operation Panel Information

1. Indication of gimbal mode:

• F: Normal mode
• POV: Cool mode
• DM: Rotation mode
• GO: Go mode

Bluetooth status: Indicator on means Bluetooth connected; indicator off means Bluetooth disconnected.

Battery life indication: Displayed in percentages (20%, 40%, 70%, 100%). The 'F' indicator double flashes when battery life is less than 15%.

2. Joystick controls:

• Move: Up / down / left / right
• Single click: Switch F / POV modes
• Double click: Reposition
• Triple click: Switch between DM / Automatic rotation
• Hold down: Activate Go mode

3. Focus roller (requires app connection): Adjust focus point (virtual and real).

4. Zoom toggle (requires app connection): Adjust focal length / distance.

5. Button controls:

• Single click: Take Photo / Switch Video mode
• Double click: Switch between landscape / portrait orientation

6. Power button:

• Long press: Power on / off
• Double click: Check battery life

Charging the Gimbal

Use the equipped Type-C cable to connect a power adapter to the charging port in the gimbal's handle. The gimbal is in charging state when the indicator is on. When [....] full bars show, the gimbal battery is fully charged.

The battery of SMART XE is pre-installed. Before first use, please fully charge the SMART XE to activate it for normal use.

Warranty Terms

1. Within 15 days from the date of purchase, products with functional malfunctions or quality problems will be replaced for free, provided the product and packaging are undamaged. A brand new unit will be provided after confirming the product issue.
2. The product is covered by a 1-year free warranty for use under normal conditions. Accidental or artificial damages, and damages caused by improper disassembly or misuse are NOT covered by the warranty.
3. Please keep and offer the warranty card for claiming warranty service.
