Description of the Unit

Power Supply
The unit operates using a supplied AC adapter suitable for AC main supplies of 100-240V ~ 50/60Hz.
Cautions:
- Use only the supplied AC adapter with this unit.
- Turn off the unit before unplugging the AC adapter.
- Disconnect the AC adapter from the outlet when not in use for extended periods.
- Ensure the AC adapter and outlet are easily accessible.
- Never use a damaged AC adapter. Route the power cord safely.
Energy Saving: The unit will automatically switch to Standby mode after 15 minutes of inactivity or very low volume during playback.
Operation
Turning Unit On/Off:
Press the STANDBY button to turn the unit on. Press it again to turn it off.
Selecting Function (Source):
Press the SOURCE button repeatedly to cycle through the available modes: Bluetooth, AUX 1 L/R (RCA), AUX 2 (3.5mm), OPTICAL. The indicator light color will change accordingly.
Indicator Modes:
- Red: Standby
- Blue: Bluetooth
- Violet: AUX 1 L/R (RCA)
- Yellow-green: AUX 2 (3.5mm)
- Indigo: Optical
Audio Controls:
- Volume: Use the Vol +/- buttons to adjust the sound level.
- Mute: Press the Mute button (?) to temporarily silence the speakers. Press it again to restore sound.
- Bass/Treble: Use the BASS +/- and TREBLE +/- buttons to adjust bass and treble effects.
- Equalizer: Press the EQ button repeatedly to select different sound effect modes.
Bluetooth Function
The Muse M-1520 SBT supports Bluetooth connectivity for wireless audio streaming.
Pairing a Bluetooth Device:
- Turn on the unit and press the SOURCE button until Bluetooth mode is selected. The indicator light will blink blue rapidly, indicating pairing mode.
- On your Bluetooth device, enable Bluetooth and select “M-1520SBT” from the list of available devices. Follow your device's instructions for pairing. A confirmation sound will indicate successful pairing.
Tip: To connect a different Bluetooth device, disconnect the current one first.
If pairing fails, press and hold the PAIR button until the indicator blinks blue rapidly, then retry pairing.
Note on Pairing: Pairing remains active even if the device goes out of range and will reconnect automatically when back in range. The unit will attempt to reconnect to the last paired device upon power-up.
Using a Bluetooth Device:
- Once paired, operate your Bluetooth device to play audio through the M-1520SBT speakers.
- Use the Play/Pause button (▶️ / ⏸️) to control playback.
- Select tracks using the Skip/Tune buttons ( / ).
- Adjust volume using the unit's Vol +/- buttons or on your Bluetooth device.

Connecting with External Devices
To AUX IN RCA Jacks:
Connect your audio source (e.g., DVD player) to the unit's AUX 1 L/R jacks using the supplied RCA audio cable.
To 3.5mm AUX IN Jack:
Connect your audio source (e.g., MP3 player) to the unit's AUX 2 jack using a 3.5mm audio cable (cable not included).
To OPTICAL IN Jack:
Connect your audio source to the unit's OPTICAL jack using a digital optical audio cable (cable not included).
Playback Steps:
- Press the SOURCE button to select the desired mode (AUX 1 L/R, AUX 2, or OPTICAL).
- Start playback from your audio source.
- Adjust the volume to your desired level.
- To stop playback, disconnect your audio source from the unit.
Note: OPTICAL IN is for PCM format only.

Safety Instructions
CAUTION: To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble the unit. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.
Warning Symbols:
- [Warning: High Voltage] The lightning flash symbol within a triangle alerts the user to the presence of dangerous voltage inside the unit.
- [Important Information] The exclamation point within a triangle alerts the user to important instructions accompanying the product.
WARNING: TO PREVENT FIRE OR SHOCK HAZARD, DO NOT EXPOSE THIS APPLIANCE TO RAIN OR MOISTURE.
Important Notes:
- The marking plate is located at the back of the device.
- Ensure adequate ventilation; do not cover openings with items like newspapers or curtains.
- Do not place heat sources (e.g., candles) on or near the unit.
- Use in moderate climates.
- Do not expose to dripping or splashing.
- Maintain a minimum distance of 5cm around the unit for ventilation.
- Do not place liquid-filled objects (e.g., vases) on the unit.
- The mains plug serves as the disconnect device and must remain easily accessible.
- The product may malfunction due to electrostatic discharge; a power reset may be required.
- Strong electromagnetic interference may disrupt normal function; reset the product or use in a different location if issues persist.
Battery Safety:
WARNING: Do not ingest the battery. Chemical Burn Hazard. This product contains a coin/button cell battery. If swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in 2 hours and can be fatal. Keep new and used batteries away from children. If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children. Seek immediate medical attention if batteries are swallowed or placed inside any part of the body.
Disposal:
When disposing of this appliance, please recycle it at an electrical household appliance collection point. Contact local authorities or your retailer for recycling advice. (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive).
Remote Control Battery Replacement
The remote control uses one CR2025 lithium battery (included).
To install the battery:
- Remove the insulation tab from the back of the remote.
- Push the battery compartment release button to the right.
- Pull out the battery tray.
- Insert one CR2025 battery with the positive side (+) facing up.
- Replace the battery tray and cover.
Notes on Batteries:
- If the remote is not used for a long time, remove the battery to prevent leakage and corrosion.
- Dispose of used batteries responsibly, respecting the environment.
- Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
- Do not expose batteries to excessive heat.
CAUTION: Danger of explosion if the battery is replaced incorrectly. Replace only with the same or equivalent type.
Wall Mounting Instruction
- Drill two holes in the wall using a powerful electric drill.
- Insert wall plugs into the holes.
- Secure screws into the plugs, leaving approximately 3mm exposed to hook the soundbar.
- Place the soundbar onto the mounting screws, ensuring it is firm and stable.
