Technical Specification
Description
A plumbing sealing and caulking compound for setting plumbing fixtures, bowls, faucets, basin cocks, strainers, plugs, and sink frames. It does not stick to fingers or hands. It maintains a smooth, uniform appearance from top to bottom of the container with superior sealing qualities. Sta Put will not harden, crumble, crack, or shrink. It is flexible and stretchable, spreads easily, and can be molded into rings or shaped to the precise configuration needed. It provides a gas proof, fume proof, odor proof, insect proof, and watertight seal. Meets or exceeds Federal Specification TT-P-1536.

Precautions
DO NOT USE STA PUT IN DIRECT CONTACT WITH MARBLE, GRANITE OR OTHER POROUS STONE, CERAMICS OR MANUFACTURED SUBSTITUTES. USE HERCULES STA PUT ULTRA INSTEAD. DO NOT USE STA PUT IN DIRECT CONTACT WITH ABS PLASTIC.
Directions
Take out required amount and form the putty to the approximate shape needed. Sta Put can be rolled between the palms of your hands to form a long cord-like shape. Lay out on the surface being sealed, overlapping the ends. Place the fixture over the bead, attach and tighten down the fasteners for the fixture. Enough Sta Put should be used so that some excess putty is squeezed out from all around the fixture ensuring that a continuous seal has been made. Wipe off the excess; no additional sealer is needed. Use this method for setting bowls, fixtures, faucets, basin cocks, strainers, plugs, sink frames, toilet perimeters, and other sealing and caulking applications.
