Safety Precautions
- This appliance is designed for household use only and for processing normal household quantities.

- Always unplug or switch off the appliance when it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling, cleaning, and storing.
- Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
- This appliance shall not be used by children.
- Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
- Keep hands, hair, clothing, as well as spatulas and other utensils away from whisks and dough hooks during operation to prevent personal injury. Do not contact moving parts during operation.
Description
The hand mixer consists of the following parts:
- 1. Ejection button [▶️]: Used to release the attachments.
- 2. On/off switch (I = on, 0 = off) [⚫️/⚪️]: Controls the power.
- 3. Speed selector: Adjusts the speed from 1 to turbo.
- 4. Motor part: The main body of the appliance containing the motor.
- 5. Outlets for whisks / dough hooks: Where the attachments are inserted.
- 6. Dough hooks: For kneading and mixing heavy doughs.
- 7. Whisks: For mixing lighter batters, whipping cream, and egg whites.

Using the Handmixer (A)
The dough hooks are suited for kneading yeast dough, pasta dough, pastries, and mixing heavy minced meat doughs. The whisks are used for mixing cake mixtures, sponges, mashed potatoes, and whipping cream (minimum 100 ml), egg whites, and creamy ingredients.
- Insert the dough hooks (6) or whisks (7) into the outlets (5) as illustrated [⚙️].
- Place ingredients into a bowl.
- Select the desired speed (1...turbo) using the speed selector (3). To avoid splashing, start with a low speed setting and gradually increase it while operating.
- Press the on/off switch (2) to turn the appliance on and off.
- After use, unplug the appliance and press the ejection button (1) to release the dough hooks or whisks.
Tips for Best Results
- For optimal results when making cake mixtures, etc., use ingredients at the same temperature. Remove butter, eggs, etc., from the refrigerator some time before use.
- Whipped cream achieves more volume if the cream is well chilled before whipping.
- Mashed potatoes will become creamier if all ingredients are used as hot as possible (e.g., potatoes immediately after boiling).
Cleaning the Appliance (B)
Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
- The motor part (4) should be cleaned with a damp cloth only. Do not immerse it in water or hold it under running water [?❌].
- All other parts are dishwasher-safe [?️✅].
Recipe Example: Vanilla-Honey-Prunes
(Suitable as a pancake stuffing or spread)
- Fill the chopper bowl* with 300 g of dried prunes and 300 g of creamy honey.
- Chop for 10 seconds at maximum speed.
- Add 100 ml of water (vanilla-flavoured).
- Chop for another 3 seconds.
* The chopper bowl is an optional accessory available from Braun Service Centres (availability may vary by country).
Disposal
Please do not dispose of the product in household waste at the end of its useful life. Disposal can take place at a Braun Service Centre or at appropriate collection points provided in your country. [♻️]

The guarantee does not apply to damage caused by insufficient aftercare, cleaning, or chemical/electrochemical effects of water. Any repaired or replaced appliance will be guaranteed for the unexpired portion of the guarantee.
