Specifications

  • Maximum operating time with dough hooks: 5 minutes
  • Maximum operating time with whisks: 15 minutes

Using the Handmixer (A)

The dough hooks are suited for kneading yeast dough, pasta dough, pastries, and mixing heavy minced meat doughs. The whisks are used for mixing cake mixtures, sponges, mashed potatoes, and whipping cream (minimum 100 ml), egg whites, and creamy ingredients.

  1. Insert the dough hooks (6) or whisks (7) into the outlets (5) as illustrated [⚙️].
  2. Place ingredients into a bowl.
  3. Select the desired speed (1...turbo) using the speed selector (3). To avoid splashing, start with a low speed setting and gradually increase it while operating.
  4. Press the on/off switch (2) to turn the appliance on and off.
  5. After use, unplug the appliance and press the ejection button (1) to release the dough hooks or whisks.

Tips for Best Results

  • For optimal results when making cake mixtures, etc., use ingredients at the same temperature. Remove butter, eggs, etc., from the refrigerator some time before use.
  • Whipped cream achieves more volume if the cream is well chilled before whipping.
  • Mashed potatoes will become creamier if all ingredients are used as hot as possible (e.g., potatoes immediately after boiling).

Cleaning the Appliance (B)

Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.

  • The motor part (4) should be cleaned with a damp cloth only. Do not immerse it in water or hold it under running water [?❌].
  • All other parts are dishwasher-safe [?️✅].

Recipe Example: Vanilla-Honey-Prunes

(Suitable as a pancake stuffing or spread)

  • Fill the chopper bowl* with 300 g of dried prunes and 300 g of creamy honey.
  • Chop for 10 seconds at maximum speed.
  • Add 100 ml of water (vanilla-flavoured).
  • Chop for another 3 seconds.

* The chopper bowl is an optional accessory available from Braun Service Centres (availability may vary by country).
