  • Do not leave the doors open for too long.
  • Do not set the thermostat to too low a temperature.
  • To reduce energy consumption, leave all accessories, such as drawers and shelves, inside the appliance.

Notes on Installation

  • Remove the packaging and check if the appliance is damaged. If the appliance is damaged, contact an authorized service center. Report any damage to the manufacturer immediately. Keep the original packaging for returns.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Defrosting

  • Ice may accumulate inside the appliance, which automatically defrosts during the compressor's operating cycle.
  • Water collects in a tray above the compressor, from where it slowly evaporates.
  • Always clean the drain opening regularly to allow water to exit the compartment.

Cleaning the Appliance

  • Remove all shelves and the crisper drawer. First, remove the bottom door shelves to allow removal of the crisper drawer, which is typically used for storing vegetables.
  • Wipe the interior of the appliance with a damp cloth and detergent. Then, wipe the interior with clean warm water.
  • Wash the shelves and crisper drawer with water and soap, and dry all components before reinserting them into the appliance. Clean the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth.
  • The condenser grille on the rear of the unit and adjacent components can be vacuumed using a soft brush attachment.

Cleaning Tips

Condensation may appear on the exterior of the unit. This can be caused by changes in room temperature. Simply wipe away the condensed water with a clean cloth. If the problem persists, contact the nearest customer service center.

Maintenance

  • When moving the appliance, hold it by the sides or bottom. Do not hold the appliance by its top edges.
  • The appliance should be serviced by an authorized technician, and only original spare parts should be used. Do not attempt to repair the product yourself. Unauthorized repairs can lead to injury or malfunction.
  • If you do not plan to use the appliance for an extended period, disconnect it from the power supply. Remove all food and clean the refrigerator. Leave the doors open to prevent unpleasant odors.

NOTE: When using, maintaining, or disposing of the appliance, pay attention to the symbol on the rear of the appliance or on the compressor. This symbol warns of fire hazard. When using, maintaining, or disposing of the appliance, keep the appliance away from sources of open flame.

Product Description

The refrigerator-freezer combination consists of the following parts:

  • 11 Temperature Regulator
  • 2 Freezer Compartment
  • 3 Glass Shelves
  • 4 Crisper Cover
  • 5 Drawer
  • 6 Door Shelf
  • 7 Adjustable Feet

Putting into Operation and Use

Before First Use

  • Carefully remove the appliance from the box and keep all packaging material until you are sure the appliance is in order and functioning correctly. Remove the protective film from the refrigerator doors and housing.
  • Protect the appliance from heat and direct sunlight. To prevent rust and reduce the insulation effect, do not place the appliance in damp locations.
  • To prevent damage to the electrical and insulation properties of the refrigerator, do not place it where it could come into contact with water.
  • The refrigerator must be placed in a well-ventilated area; the floor on which the refrigerator will stand must be level and firm (if unstable, adjust the refrigerator's feet to a suitable level).
  • There must be a clearance of more than 30 cm above the refrigerator, and the refrigerator should be placed against a wall at a distance of more than 10 cm to ensure optimal heat dissipation.
  • Before loading the refrigerator, wait approximately 2-3 hours, or until the refrigerator reaches its target temperature.
  • Allow sufficient space for the doors and shelves to open freely.

Recommended Temperature Settings

Daily Use: Store different foods in different compartments as shown in the following table:

Position Type of Food
Door Shelf Food containing natural preservatives, such as jams or juices, drinks, or spices.
Drawer Fruit, herbs, and vegetables should be stored in a separate container. Do not store bananas, onions, potatoes, or garlic in the drawer.
Middle Shelf Dairy products and eggs
Top Shelf Food that does not require cooking, as well as ready-made food, sausages, or leftovers.
Freezer Compartment or Freezer Shelf (if available) Frozen food and food suitable for freezing, such as meat, poultry, fish, ice cream, frozen fruit, or frozen pastries.

Temperature Settings:

When the appliance is switched on, the internal temperature is adjusted via the thermostat. Depending on the model, there are 6 (or 8) settings available. 1 is the warmest setting, and 5 (or 7) is the coldest. 0 means the refrigerator is switched off.

Note: If the ambient temperature is too high or you open the doors too often, the target temperature may not be reached.

Installing Shelves Inside the Refrigerator and in the Door

The refrigerator is equipped with several shelves that can be positioned as needed. To accommodate food packages of different sizes, the door shelves can be height-adjusted. To do this, pull the top door shelf out in the direction of the arrows, and then reposition it as needed.

Defrosting Frozen Food

Before use, frozen food can be thawed in one of the refrigerator compartments or at room temperature. Place the frozen food in a bowl to prevent uncontrolled water leakage during thawing.

Note: Refrigerators without freezer compartments are not suitable for long-term storage of frozen food.

Storage of Fresh Food

  • Do not place hot food in the refrigerator.
  • Always pack food well or place it in hermetically sealed containers. This is especially true for food with a strong aroma.
  • Do not store an excessive amount of food in the refrigerator.
  • Store meat in a plastic bag on the shelf directly above the crisper drawer for a maximum of 2 days.
  • Cooked food can be placed on any of the shelves.
  • Store fresh fruit and vegetables in the bottom compartment.
  • Store butter and cheese in hermetically sealed containers, aluminum foil, or plastic bags.
  • Store milk only in the door compartment.
  • Do not store bananas, onions, potatoes, or garlic in the refrigerator.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause and Suggested Solution
Appliance not working. Check if the appliance is connected to the power supply and if the plug is properly inserted into the socket.
Check if the voltage is too low.
Check if there is a power interruption or outage.
Specific odor. Food with a strong odor should be well-packaged.
Do not store spoiled food in the freezer.
Clean the appliance.
Prolonged compressor operation. Prolonged compressor operation is normal in summer when the ambient temperature is high.
An excessive amount of food is stored in the appliance.
Food should be cooled to at least room temperature before storing in the refrigerator.
Doors are opened too often.
Doors cannot be closed properly. Door seal is dirty. Too much food in the freezer.
Refrigerator is too tilted.
Excessive noise level. Check if the floor is level and the refrigerator stands straight.
Check if the refrigerator is placed in a suitable location.
Door seal is not correct. Clean the door seal thoroughly and carefully.
If necessary, heat the seal with a hairdryer to restore its sealing function.
Water leaking from the appliance. An excessive amount of food is stored inside the appliance, or the stored food contains too much water, causing intense defrosting.
Doors are not closed properly, causing warm air to enter the appliance and consequently defrosting food, leading to water appearance.
Appliance housing is quite warm. Heat from the compressor spreads through the housing, which is a normal occurrence.
When the housing heats up due to high ambient temperature, storing too much food at once, or compressor shutdown, ensure optimal ventilation to facilitate heat dissipation.
