LABEL LOADING AND CALIBRATION

The A318/A318BT printer works with various label sizes and needs to learn label properties before its first use. To initiate Automatic Label Loading and run Intelligent Label Calibration, please follow these steps:

  1. Power On: Turn on the power and wait for about 5 seconds until the printer is initialized.
  2. Automatic Label Loading: Insert the label from the backside of the printer. The printer will load the label, move it back and forth, and stop with a green light on. No labels are wasted during this procedure. An image shows a label being fed into the printer from the back, with an arrow indicating the direction.

It is suggested to adjust the label guide to match the label width before inserting the label.

Intelligent Label Calibration: Press and hold the feeder button for about 3 seconds until one beep, then release. The label will move back and forth several times to calibrate the label size. Printing can then begin.

Note: A stack of at least 3 sheets of labels is required for the printer to measure the thermal paper length and complete the process.
