Stainless Steel Door Panel Kit

Before you begin

Read these instructions completely and carefully.

⚠ Tip Over Hazard.

These appliances are top heavy, especially with any doors open, and must be secured to prevent tipping forward which could result in death or serious injury. Read and follow the entire installation instructions for securing the appliance with the anti-tip system before installing door panel kit.

⚠ Door Trim Pinch Point Hazard

Improper installation can lead to a finger pinch point hazard between the side door trim and the cabinets when operating the door, especially with children. To minimize this risk you must follow the installation instructions for cabinet dimensions, trim assembly, and door stop angle.

Tools and Materials Required:

Phillips #2 bit/driver, M4, M5 hex keys (included with unit) or bits/drivers.

PANEL PREP

Panel brackets are shipped with the refrigerator in the convertible (middle) drawer. Use the M4 machine screws provided with the stainless steel door panel kit to install brackets. Do not tighten screws.
Install Monogram Statement or Minimalist handles (sold separately). Follow instructions provided in the handle kit.

Diagram Description: Rear views of Single Door and French Door panels showing placement of various brackets (D1, A1, G1, E1, B1, F1, C1, H1, J1). A note indicates that G1 brackets and bottom H1 and J1 brackets for French door models will be installed after door panels are hung. A tip advises using a small washer for each screw when installing J1 and H1 brackets. Another tip states not to tighten screws until after assembly process and left to right alignment.

Follow the remainder of the stainless steel door panel installation instructions in the unit installation instructions to adjust and secure the door panels.

TOE KICK INSTALLATION

This kit provides a stainless steel toe kick for a single, integrated unit installation. Refer to the unit installation instructions for information on custom toe kicks and stainless steel standard and dual installation toe kicks.
The toe kick attaches to the refrigerator by using a magnet that is provided with the refrigerator.
Remove the toe kick magnet from the front access cover.
Adhere magnet to back side of toe kick. The surface of the toe kick where the magnet is to be placed must be clean and free of foreign material. Center magnet vertically and horizontally.
Position toe kick on bottom portion of the front access cover.
