Additional Installation Guide
(Middle Static Pressure Duct Type Air Conditioner A6)
Horizontal Installation
1.1 With External pump (9K, 12K models)
Cut both ends of the rubber hose into a straight one. Use it to connect the drain Connector A and the external pump, securing it with clamps on both ends. Then connect the drainpipe to Connector B.
Diagram Description (Fig. 1): Shows a rubber hose connecting Connector A to an external pump, secured by clamps. A drainpipe is connected to Connector B.
1.3 With Built-in pump (24K, 36K, 48K models)
Drain connectors A, B, and C are covered with caps. Connect the drainpipe to Connector D.
Diagram Description (Fig. 3): Illustrates drain connectors A, B, and C with caps. A drainpipe is connected to Connector D.
1.2 With External pump (18K model only)
Drain connectors A, B, and C are covered with caps. Remove the cap from drain connector B. Connect the external pump to drain connector B using a hose and two hose clamps. Then connect the drainpipe to Connector D. Plug the external pump to the “PUMP” pin and the water level sensor to the "CN5" to enable the pump.
Diagram Description (Fig. 2): Depicts drain connectors A, B, and C. The cap is removed from Connector B for connecting an external pump via a hose and clamps. A drainpipe is connected to Connector D.
Diagram Description (Fig. 4): Illustrates the process for disabling the pump. It shows opening a cover, unplugging the “PUMP” pin, and short-connecting the "CN5" plug to disable the water level sensor.
Vertical Installation
2.1 No need pump (Disable pump)
The pump must be disabled when the unit is installed vertically or if the pump assembly is removed from its original position. Open the cover of the E-Parts Box assembly, unplug the “PUMP” pin to disable the pump function, and short connect the "CN5" plug to disable the water level sensor.
(Refer to Diagram Description for Fig. 4 above for visual aid on disabling the pump.)
2.2 Drain pipe connecting
When installed vertically (up flow), the pump must be disabled first. Follow the steps in section 2.1 (Fig. 4) to disable the pump. For units with an external pump (9K, 12K, & 18K models), the entire pump assembly can be removed. Remove the cap from the drain connector and connect the drainpipe to the drain connector.
Diagram Description (Fig. 5, Fig. 6, Fig. 7): These diagrams show the connection of a drainpipe to a drain connector.
