General Warnings and Precautions
WARNING! USE PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT.
This skateboard is not suitable for individuals weighing over 100 kg.
Riding a skateboard can be dangerous. Always prioritize safety.
WARNING: Running and jumping onto a moving skateboard can be extremely dangerous.
WARNING: Do not make any modifications that could compromise safety.
CAUTION: Due to the inability to determine the expiry date of connecting components like screws and nuts, always check the efficiency of all connecting components before each ride. Tighten any loose components and replace any damaged ones with new ones.
The skateboard is not equipped with a special steering mechanism.
Safety Principles for Riding
- Choose locations that allow you to improve your skills. Avoid pavements and streets where serious accidents have occurred.
- Learn new tricks slowly. If you lose balance, stop and try again. Start on gentle slopes and gradually progress to steeper ones, ensuring you can jump off safely.
- Serious injuries, such as broken bones, can occur. Learn how to fall safely, preferably by rolling, and practice without the board initially.
- Beginners should train with an experienced friend or parent. Most accidents happen within the first month of training.
- Before jumping off the board, check its trajectory to avoid injuring others.
- Avoid riding on wet or bumpy surfaces.
- Consider joining a local club to enhance your skills and demonstrate responsible skateboarding.
- Children under eight years of age should only use the skateboard under constant adult supervision.
Learning to Fall Safely
- If you lose balance, curl up to minimize the fall distance.
- Try to fall on a soft part of your body.
- Remain as flexible as possible during a fall.
Usage Instructions
- NEVER use the skateboard while holding onto moving vehicles such as cars, bicycles, buses, or lorries. Riding on the street in this manner can lead to accidents, disability, or even death.
- Ride on smooth, dry surfaces. Ensure the riding area is free of holes, pits, rocks, stones, or bumps that could cause a fall and injury.
- The skateboard is intended for recreational riding only. Do not perform complex figures or acrobatic maneuvers.
- Avoid uneven and wet surfaces.
- Do not use the skateboard on the street or pavement.
- Before jumping off the skateboard, check its path to ensure it does not injure third parties.
Protective Equipment and Usage
- Always use protective equipment, including a helmet, knee pads, wrist guards, and elbow pads, to prevent injuries.
- This skateboard is designed for recreational riding, not competitive use. Use it with deliberation, as it requires agility to avoid falls and collisions that could injure the user or others.
Maintenance and Inspection
- WARNING! Regular control and maintenance of the skateboard enhance equipment safety.
- WARNING! ALL EXCHANGES AND MAINTENANCE MUST BE PERFORMED BY AN ADULT OR A SPECIALIZED SERVICE CENTER.
- Visual Inspection: Always visually inspect the suspension system before riding. If the wheels tilt, check if they are properly tightened.
- Wheel and Bearing Maintenance: If wheels do not spin properly, lubricate the bearings with light machine oil. Replace damaged or excessively worn wheels with new ones; do not replace single wheels. Use only one type of bearing; do not mix different types.
- Component Check: Ensure all fastening components are stable for proper turning. After each ride, remove any sharp components that may have formed.
- Board Integrity: Before each ride, check the skateboard's surface for cracks. If any cracks are visible, the skateboard is no longer fit for use and must be replaced.
- Braking: To brake, shift your body weight onto one leg and press the board against the ground so it creates friction.
- Part Replacement: It is recommended that any part replacements are carried out by a competent person using appropriate spare parts.
- Regular Checks: Regularly check the skateboard for wear and tear, especially the mounting of the suspension system to the board.
