Frequently Asked Questions

  1. How can I share the device with family members?

Open the app and navigate to Settings. From there, you can share the device via QR code or email, and even transfer ownership. New users must download the app and create their own account first.

  2. Why can't I change the settings?

Only the owner account has permission to change settings, delete videos, and share the device. Shared accounts have limited options.

  3. How many users can view the device at the same time?

The owner account can share the device with up to 8 other accounts. A maximum of 3 users can view the video feed simultaneously, but only 1 user can use the intercom feature.

  4. Why is the camera offline?

If the camera is offline, it means it has lost its connection. If the battery is depleted, it will need to be recharged.

  5. How can I adjust the human detection accuracy?

Open the app, tap Settings, then Motion Settings. You can choose from three accuracy levels: low, medium, and high. 'Medium' is recommended. 'High' offers the strictest detection, triggering only for certain human movement, but may miss figures. 'Low' is less strict. The human detection settings help manage notifications and battery life.

    • High Accuracy: Records videos less frequently, ensuring maximum battery life.
    • Medium Accuracy: Offers medium battery life.
    • Low Accuracy: Records videos more frequently, leading to shorter battery life.

If your monitoring area has frequent or repetitive motions (e.g., children playing), you might receive many alerts. The accuracy settings help balance notification frequency with battery preservation.

  6. How can I enable notifications on my phone?
    1. From the Device page in the app, tap the Settings icon, then tap the Motion Detection icon. Choose whether to turn Motion Alerts on or off.
    2. On your phone, navigate to Settings, then App Management and Notification Settings. Locate the 'Gazing' app and ensure all necessary permissions and notifications are enabled for it.
  7. Does this device come with a SIM card, or do I need to buy one separately?

The device has a built-in 4G LTE SIM card, so no separate purchase or insertion is required. It is ready for use out of the box. The SIM card is permanently built-in for stable connection and easy setup.
