4. Doorbell Mounting
Factors to Consider:
- Check if existing holes in walls or door frames can be reused.
- If mounting close to the wall, ensure the wall side does not appear in the monitoring field of view to avoid blurriness in night vision mode due to infrared light refraction.
- It is recommended to install the doorbell at a height of 48" (1.2m) from the ground to reduce monitoring blind spots.
- For package monitoring, it is recommended to place the package rack 0.5 meters away from the wall. (Package detection function may require an additional fee.)
Diagram Description: Illustrates recommended installation height (1.76m / 5'9" person) and detection range (0.3m / 12" from ground, 0.5m from wall).
Method 1: Battery-Powered Installation Steps
1) Install Doorbell Bracket ?
A. Mounting on Wooden Surface (Door Frame): No pre-drilling is required. Use a screwdriver ? to tighten the screws to secure the bracket to the mounting spot. (Use the doorbell disassembly needle ? to remove the bracket from the unit.)
Tools Required: Screwdriver ?, Screw (included) ?, Doorbell disassembly needle ?, Doorbell bracket ?.

B. Mounting on Hard Surface (Brick, Concrete, Stucco):
- Paste the positioning card ? to the doorbell mounting spot.
- Use a 15/64" (6 mm) drill bit ड्रिल to drill holes according to the screw holes on the positioning card.
- Insert anchors ⚓ into the holes, then use a screwdriver ? to tighten the screws to secure the doorbell bracket to the mounting spot.

Method 2: Installation Steps for Powering a Doorbell Using Existing Doorbell Wires
1) Check Whether Existing Doorbell Wires Are Working Properly
Press the doorbell button of the existing doorbell to check if it is working. If it does not ring, the power wires may be defective. Install the new doorbell using the battery-powered method or consult an electrician. If it rings properly, shut off the power to the existing doorbell at the circuit breaker ⚡.
Diagram Description: Shows a hand turning off a circuit breaker switch.
Note: The required voltage for the doorbell is 8-24V AC. Please confirm your existing doorbell wires meet this requirement. If your existing doorbell has an 8V power supply, use the provided "jumper cable" 〰️ to connect the two terminals in your existing doorbell chime.
Warning: Be careful when handling wires during installation. If you are not comfortable, have an electrician perform the installation.
2) Detach the Existing Doorbell
Use a screwdriver ? to detach the existing doorbell. Pay attention to the power wires on the back. Remove the power wires using a screwdriver and check if they are damaged or aging.
Tools Required: Screwdriver ?.

3) Install Doorbell Bracket
(Refer to Method 1, Step 1 for bracket installation instructions.)
4) Connect the Doorbell Wires ?
Loosen the screw on the AC power port on the back of the doorbell. Connect the wall wire to the power port and tighten the screw. The doorbell AC power terminals do not distinguish between positive and negative poles and can be connected in any order.
Notes:
- The AC power terminals do not distinguish between positive and negative poles and can be connected in any order.
- To prevent short-circuits, ensure the positive and negative poles of the wires are not touching each other.
- If the wires are too short, use the provided extension wires and wire nuts to make them longer. Use electrical tape if there is no space for wire nuts.
Tools Required: Screwdriver ?, Video doorbell ?, AC Power extension cord ⚡.

5. Common Problems
Q1: The doorbell doesn't turn on
- Long press the Power Button ? for 3 seconds and ensure it is pressed.
- Use the Type-C USB cable ? to charge the doorbell for about 3 minutes. Check if the LED indicator is green. Solid green means the battery is insufficient. If the LED does not light up, try a different Type-C USB cable or charger (must support 5V/1.5A).
- Bring the doorbell indoors before turning it on to avoid issues due to low outdoor temperatures. The operating temperature is -4°F to 122°F (-20°C to 50°C).
Q2: Doorbell network configuration failed.
If the doorbell indicator flashes blue and sounds "Ready to connect" after turning on, network configuration is usually normal. If the indicator flashes differently, troubleshoot as follows:
- Restore factory settings: Long press the Power Button ? for 5 seconds when powered on.
- Unplug the USB charging cable ?. The indicator will flash green when charging.
- Check if the router password is correct (Wi-Fi password, not APP account password).
- Verify your router's Wi-Fi signal is 2.4GHz. If your router uses a shared account for 2.4GHz and 5GHz, configure them separately.
- Ensure the Wi-Fi connected to your phone is 2.4GHz.
Q3: Littlelf Smart APP home page shows doorbell offline.
- Adjust the router's position to ensure a strong and stable Wi-Fi signal ? at the doorbell's location.
- Confirm that the router's Wi-Fi signal can access the network normally.
